We have been harrassed by the same number for a year and a half. My wife has been insulted by the caller and we have reported ESI to the Better Business Bureau . The president of this company, Kathleen Newton, has been informed of employees' harrassing policies. We have been advised to contact the Alabama Attorney- General's Office in the event of further harrassment.

I get a call from this number almost every day.  I do not answer numbers I do not know from whom they are from.  I assume, from the other comments, that this is a telemarketer. I signed up on the national do not call list because I do not want to be bothered by these type of people. They never leave a message which leads me to believe it is an automated calling system. maybe I will answer next time and tell them not to call again, to take me off their list!

I got 3 calls from this number in 3 days. We weren't home for the first two, but I picked up on the one today. The guy on the other end called me by my first name, I said, "excuse me?" and he hung up. I did a bit of digging, and the company seems to be:

I called both numbers I found for them and the first one, 205-978-9888, is out of service. I tried the second one, 205-988-8441, from my cell phone and it went to a voicemail belonging to someone named Brad.  I tried it again from my home phone (the one they'd called) and got through to someone who confirmed that they were Brad. I asked to be taken off their calling list and he helped me out without hesitation. Sounds like this is who the mystery calls are coming from, but we'll see if we get any more.

They were asking for donations to benefit EMTs. When I told the caller I primarily gave to two other public safety organizations, he responded "well that doesn't help EMTs" then hung up on me. I would gladly set aside some of my charitable giving for EMTs. They need a more personable telemarketer.

Almost everyday a call comes in and then they hang up.
