On May 15 and May 16 I received a call from 206-203-7651 saying that my computer was infected with a virus and that I needed to check my files. He almost demanded that I go to my computer and check it out. It's as if he wouldn 't take no for an answer. I told him that I wasn't interested in anything that he had to offer and he said ok and that I was on my own.

Received my second call from "John" saying my computer was infected. I told him I did not have a computer and he told me that I did have a computer and that I was "telling lies".

I had my second call from 206-203-7651 claiming he is calling from Windows Service Center and my computer is sending out viruses. This is serious fraud from India!! I told the man that and hung up!!

Do I need to say anything more?

I received the same call a month ago. When I told the man calling that I don't use Windows, he hung up.
This afternoon, this same outfit called 5 times! The first 3 times the accent of the man was so strong that I could not understand one thing he said so I ended the call. Immediately, another man with an accent called saying he was calling from the Windows Service Center. He further explained that all computers using windows in my area code have been affected by a virus and that he wanted me to go to my computer and check files in an effort to stop the virus. I let him talk then told him I don't use windows. He knew my name, maiden name, husbands name & our address!! He told me that I wouldn't need his help since I don't use windows and politely ended the call.
I can only hope no one out there falls for this scam. This guy really sounded believable.

Scammers with heavy accent saying that they are calling from Microsoft and that my computer is sending out "viruses" and they need to connect to it remotely to fix the problem! Honestly, do people really fall for this stuff??
