this number 888-888-8888 called me states that the federal reserves deans office picked my name to receive a federal grant to receive 7000 dollars were i don't have to pay it back all i have to do is write down this conformation number and then call this other number above and i did then lady named Deanna said from number above said go to western union and call her when i get there she will give me another conformation number but need to send 289.00 dollars before they send they send the 7000

got a call today saying i won $7,000. also. (206-317-1441) They wanted my account numbers.  Are you serious !! get a real job like the rest of us. I kept him on the phone as long as I could to ask him questions. He got anoyed. He told me he would send the money western union and hung up.

Hey they just called my phone saying that I have been chosen for this 7000$ grant and then asking for a 265$ deposit and saying that once i transfer  the money to start the process application that I will receive the money in 30 to 40 minutes through western union... THIS IS A SCAM.... I've herd many people talking about these guys from the U.S. Government be sure to ask in advance for a binding contract... SO IF THEY DON'T FOLLOW THROUGH... i too got a call from the same no..i paid 380$ and within 30/40 mins..i got 7380$ as a grant..

Just received a call. Got offered the $7000 grant with a $295 processing fee. In order to receive the money I would have had to go to the western union. Last I checked the government didn't send you money through the western union. Anyway even though I don't give my info over the phone I always cancel my card and order a new one just to be safe.

This is a scam. They called me and I followed thru to the next person..just to see what they say. You have to pay a one time fee of $279 to get the $7000. The catch is, YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM YOUR ACOUNT INFO!! DO NOT DO IT.

No, because it's a scam.  They'll say you won a grant or qualify for a loan (which you didn't apply for BTW), and that you need to send them money on a green dot card (or similar).  If you've won something, you NEVER have to pay for it.  And it is illegal to ask someone to pay a fee upfront for a loan.

I got same call but they gave me that # to call back with my "code"
