They rang twice then quit.  Caller ID was VERIZON. Others have reported silence on the line, perhaps they are fishing for FAX machine connections.

I just had the phone ring once and then nothing. The caller ID said Verizon.

Rang once, just enough to see caller id, no time to answer. Probably debt collection for the deadbeat that used to have this number and has long since skipped town.

"Thank you for calling back. If you want to be put on our do not call list press 1 and wait 72 hours"

Same MO here, rang once early morning. Read prior posts about dialing that # and requesting to be taken off the list for future promotions. We'll see if that works.

saw the call at 7 09AM on my caller ID-- got tired of wrong #'s at 4AM so frak em. I can set my cell phone so it rings with sertain #'s I pick, even if I have the ringer turned off--quite a handy feature, I'd like to find that on a lnadline. they left no message.

I did leave seattle after filing bk-- could be some sort of collection agency but I'm pretty sure all creditors were listed--could have something to do with house that will be sold at auction in may
