I hear ya, I have reported these jerks to the feds over and over and over yet they keep calling. Just another waste of taxpayers money.

Why bother reporting them? It does no good.

I have reported the Gov. Loan Mod., Washington phone number to the National Do Not Call system over and over and over. It does not good to report unwanted phone calls - they just keep coming.

They are now using another (I suspect spoofed) number - 415-553-6465.

These pigs won't quit! Govt. won't do anything.

If we can find out the REAL name and number to these a-holes.... maybe, just maybe, we can hit back and drive them totally insane so they spend the remainder of their lives in an asylum (or the wing of a federal prison for the criminally insane).

I agree! Although I'm not usually big on regulating and regulations... in this case I'm willing to make an exception!!!

The phone system method of communication was never meant to be a commercial medium in the first place (until telemarketers twisted the Govts. arms and allowed robo-dialers). It was NEVER meant to be like television, radio and print media where ads are okay.

The phone system SHOULD ONLY be allowed for person to person (family, friend, relative, neighbor ...), business to business (or person to business - call in sick, need a car pool to work etc.) and emergencies.... NO telemarketers, spamming and scams over the line should be outlawed, robo-dialers too! And, if it must be used at all ... only allow caller id spoofing in special circumstances but only by law enforcement! Unfornutately none of those exist right now and look at what we're all dealing with... the a*holes of the world with no life of their own and nothing better to do than harass total strangers, disrupt their lives and invade their privacy!

Received several calls from this number.  Answered once.  Even tho I don't have a Gov Loan they can assist me.  SCAM

206 496-0421 phones most every evening@#%.  To the person responsible for doing this just to annoy innocent people, all I can say is YOU MUST BE THE BIGGEST LOSER IN THE WORLD, TO NEED THIS TYPE OF 'ACCOMPLISHMENT' to get your thrills.   Do yourself a favor, and earn some "REAL" SUCCESS ... You obviously have NOTHING worthwhile going for you, and Everyone(!) Thinks You're PATHETIC (really!!).

Yep, I've been called every single night for over a week by these scammers. ~sigh~ Nice thing about Comcast is the number calling my land line flashes across the screen so I don't even have to bother to get up. I just ignore and my machine picks up and I delete later. ~yawn~

Damn automated mortgage adjustment calls. No way to reach a real person to get off the list, despite do not call registry.

this guy just keep calling every few days since last month and left empty voice mail.  I am on the donotcall list, the government never helps, they let us fight those scams alone.

Have caller ID    received this phone number, ignored it..of course they didnt leave a message and the name listed was:  Gov Loan Mod    wasnt interested  didnt recognize, didnt answer

Received 3 calls from them.  Scam for sure, best thing to do is not answer, block the number (if you can) or just hang up as soon as the pitch starts.

Of course report them to www.donotcall.gov - but remember that list does not start any investigation, reports go into a database that may or may not be used by authorities if an investigation is underway.  

The real danger in these scams is that many folks are getting into trouble these days with layoffs, the economy etc.   When they start dealing with the scammers they think they are taking actions to help their situation.  So they fail to do the real things that may help; they think they are already doing something.

I just received a call from this number. I do not answer calls in which I do not know the number calling. No message left. I keep a manual phone log and have been doing so for years. The number of calls I get from solicitors and scams are outnumbering the calls I receive from people who actually call to speak to me. This is ridiculous. I think I will be purchasing one of those phones with the call blocking feature. My gift to me for Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, have a good one everybody!

Number is still in operation.  I received a dead air call and tried calling back with *69 and received a busy signal.  I am also on the Do Not Call govt list.

The owner of the company is a convicted child molester  -- raped a 6 year old.
