The phone numbers are always changing.  Just got a call from  417/800-2294, it says MO, USA on the caller id.  same thing.  i don't know what to do to make them stop calling.  : (

I've gotten this call every day now for months! Nothing I push can make it stop! I'm sure that several other business owners are furious by now about this marketing tactic by Google & I'm going to see if anyone has filed a class action lawsuit against them & if they have...I want to be involved & sue them for harassment!

This guys are just annoying!!!! They are just a joke, the same guy is the "supervisor", thankfully I just spent 3 minutes to figure out how they work, they also ask for your email address to spam you.

They are using some software like OxVoxo or something similar to SPOOF the phone number, plus an automatic dialer, my guess is that it may be a telemarketer for telemarketing equipment or something like that, that must be illegal, they are jamming all my lines and I am losing business, I am filing a complaint with the FTC, also I am installing a new software that already cost me money, but I will get to them and throw them in JAIL!!!!

They just messed with the wrong software developer!!!!!!

Get a whistle. When you get one of the subhumans on the line BLAST THEM.

Then hang up.

For god sake, just hang up.  The time you waste trying to get them to stop could be more productively spent on other things.  They won't stop, so don't bother with them.  Let them pay for the call they don't get to compile any data from;-)

How do you stop these damn calls?!?!?!?   I'm getting them two to three times a day.  I've spoken to live operators and demanded that my number be removed.  They simply say "Sure!", then hang up.  I'm sure they didn't lift a finger to remove my number.

Automated call claiming to be from Google Data Compiler directory. I added them to my phone address book and will send all future calls directly to voicemail.

I've no idea whether this call is affiliated with Google or not but I'm guessing that it isn't.

Much like everyone else.  CID said "Data Compiler" but they hung up on me.  Just reporting in!

This is an automated message that purports to be from Google.  They call our office three to five times per week, and have done so for the past several months, despite selecting the opt-out feature.  At least five times I have selected option "One" to be connected to a live person.  On two of these instances my call was dropped and I never spoke to anyone.  Once I was hung-up on when I asked to be removed from their call list.  Once I received assurances from a "call center supervisor" that I would never receive another call, although I must wait fourteen days for my number to be removed from their database.  That was over a month ago, and guess what?  You got it, still getting calls several times a week.  The last time I spoke with a live person I was called a liar when I complained of their repeated calls.  Next step is to report these folks to the Public Utility Commission and the Federal Trade Commission.  Just sick of these people wasting my time.

We got a call from this number.  It also said that it was from data complier.

Another spam recorded call for "the business owner" from "Data Compiler" claiming to be an affiliate of Google. Did not listen to entire recording.

They called my work telephone number when I was out, but left no message.

I received 2 calls from this number that I have traced back to Maine. It's definitely an attempt to gather data, because I live in Texas, and I know absolutely no one from Maine!  Hope this helps someone else.

Call and no one answers.  Caller ID said "Data Compiler" as others noted.  Disconnected after a few seconds.

Got a call just now from this #...didn't pick it up and they left no message. Glad to have read this message board. Will never pick up from this number! I am also on the "do not call" list.

Has called several times.  I have not answered any of the calls.  My phone number 214-728-5857 is listed on the do not call registry.
