I wish these pests that keep dialing my phone would get the hint. When i will not answer their call.
This is my private phone paid for by me! And don't need anyone to terll me what I shpould or should not do.
I am on the donot call list for all the good it does me.
They still sqeeze through somehow.
I just wish someone somewhere could do something about these pests.

Got a call from them tonight. Obviously one of those bogus 'surveys" so they can get around do not call rules. The free dinner is get you captive while they do a hard seel on something you don't want. probably an overpriced home security system. Sammers plain and simple.

Got a call from this number no message left though. Not sure who this would be. Comes up as a "private caller" but number is displayed.

Called at dinnertime on a Sunday. Didn't answer. Didn't leave a message. Caller ID said "Vonage Holdings."

Received call asking to do survey. I asked what call center she was from she said calling from Maine for coastal cleanup and community service. I started to ask another question she said "hey if you don't want to do the survey just say so and she'll add me to the do not call list" and hung up. Did a search for coastal in an area have been receiving calls from and found http://www.bbb.org/west-florida/business-revi ... ers-fl-90117614 they don't have telemarketing license but incorporated in Maine. Wonder who their marketing agent is?

I got one of these calls too. Asked what time I wanted, 4:00 of 6:30. They said they are not selling anything just promoting "Community Safety". It is at a local Red Lobster. They are open every day.

They asked m 3 quick questions about whether I changed the battery in my smoke detectors, whether I have CO2 detectors.... They said I might win a free dinner. They then called back a few hours later, and say I have a free dinner, plus with two more couples! I recieved the tickets in the mail. THis part seems legit: the free meal. They say leave you money at home. No charges, including no gratuity, at a real restauarant that is normally closed on that night.
After the meal, though, you have to sit through a "safety presentation". That could be well and fine.
