I do not like to receive unsolicieted calls. I am a Senior Citizen as well as Handicapped and this is very disruptive.

Just got a call from this number myself. I answered, said "hello," but there was no response. I stayed on the line waiting to see if an automated message would start or if someone would speak but after as much as 15 seconds with the other party saying nothing they finally hung up & the line went dead.

Never give donations to a stranger who calls you. Might be a scammer. Might be a legit independent fund raiser who keeps 99% for themselves and sends 1% to the charity. Best to donate directly to the charity so they will get 100% of your donation.

It is the VFW asking for help for returning veterans. If they hang up when you answer it's because it's an automated dialing system.

I have gotten several calls from this number, at least six or seven times in some weeks. There is never a message left, nor does anyone respond when I answer the phone. Whoever is calling just immediately hangs up. Very frustrating. My caller ID only registers the number as "Unknown."

This number called...caller ID said "unavailable" but it was a local number so I answered it anyway.  I picked it up and said hello...then waited for about 15 second.  Someone finally picked up and said hello.  Nothing irritates me more than someone ringing my number then I have to wait for THEM.  This number is going on my BLOCK CALLER list!

Got a call today. Total scam. Do not give them money.

Called and asked for someone by name who doesn't live here, but whom I happen to know (small town).  When I explained that this family doesn't live here, he asked if they ever had and I said no.  Then he proceeded to ask me who I was!  I'm sorry, you call me and you don't even know who lives here, and you think I'm obligated to tell you my name??

I hung up on him.

The nerve of these people!  I was interrupted at home by the call, he right away jumped down my throat asking for money and when I tried to speak and explain that I was interested but would like to talk to my husband first, he hung up on me!  I probably would have been an idiot and donated but if they call back...I'm hanging up.

Charty imposer. Claiming to be Operation Uplink. VFW only does mail solicitation, not phone, and usually from vetern to vetern. SPREAD THE WORD. Thats the only, ONLY way, these will ever stop: Education.

I received a call from this number on Friday and again on Sunday. I sent both calls to my fax machine, and on Sunday my husband answered it just before I clicked the fax button and I heard a guy say Hello. Not sure who this is but when I attempted to call it back I just kept getting a busy signal.

What jerks! Its a scam caller. Dont answer!!!!!!

said they were from VFW...whatever that means...very unprofessional sounding though...they weren't nice at all, they sounded very ignorant....

THey called and didn't leave a message.

I have been called twice in one week with no message.  Have tried reverse look up and it seems it comes from Jerome Idaho. It's suppose to be an MCI landline, don't know more than that.

This number has been on my caller ID several times, and no message has ever been left.
