I faxed in a form to Blue Shield at their fax # of 209-367-5000. Within seconds I'm receiving calls back, but it's a fax coming in that I can't receive because I can only send faxes, not receive them. Terrible system Blue Shield & not appreciated by this customer.

17 fax tones to a voice line in one day. How can I make it stop?
| DO NOT CALL 2013-06-25 15:38:41 Unknown |
Please do not call the 925-927-[removed] number to try to get your number blocked. That is the incorrect number and incorrect person to contact regarding these unwanted calls from the 209 number, as these calls ARE NOT COMING FROM THE 925 NUMBER!
If you are getting unwanted calls and wish to have your number blocked, please email abuse@blueshieldca.com.
Thank you.

Some makakas are calling my fax line from 209-367-5000 and 916-350-6001.
How could those animals from blue cross or blue shield be stopped?
How these blue b*****ds are allowed to annoy people without any fear or accountability?

Our office (Millennium Corporate Solutions in Glendale, CA) keeps receiving phone calls from a fax machine with this number. PLEASE stop calling our no. because your fax is calling our main phone line! Our fax no. is (626) 275-0130. Thank you!!

Not every fax that comes from this number is linked to a seminar invite for brokers, so calling that 925 # you listed won't help. The faxes are not coming from that 925 number - that is a sales office and they do not handle the mass distribution list so they would not be able to remove your number anyway. I believe any time Blue Shield sends out a fax, it comes from those fax #'s but the fax could be from any department within Blue Shield.

Calling a direct phone line 25 times now.

Thanks for the info on where to call. I'm not a broker and they keep calling my cell phone - and it's a fax machine from the SJ Blue Shield rep trying to fax info to brokers about that seminar. The lady I talked to was very helpful. Thanks for the advice.

Yep. It's a fax machine. It's from Blue Shield of California advising of a Small Group Broker Seminar in San Jose on September 7th. I'm cool with that because I'm an independant agent with a Blue Shield of California appointment. If you aren't a Blue Shield agent though, you may want to call the RSVP number on the fax I received at 925-927-[removed: see comments below] and ask them to remove your number from their mass distribution list.

Two calls from this number is five minutes; I wonder how long it will continue. No voice but beeps lead me to believe that the call is coming from a FAX machine.

I just updated my easy pay information with Blue Shield via Fax and missed a field that the form needed. I kept getting calls from this and another Blue Shield fax. It appears that they fax back to inform the subscriber of an error with the form.
