He's still up to it, now using the name Mark Thomas, just got a call from him this morning. How come he has not been caught yet?
I got this call a few minutes ago. The guy was yelling at me like a Marine Sergeant! Told me if I refused to cooperate, federal marshals would be here to execute search warrants. I said bring 'em on!
same scam different day
Same as reported above!
Same thing has been happening to me for about 5 years. Ask them "what is my birthdate?" Ask them "what is my SS #?" Ask "Who's the head of the DEA in Washington, D.C.?" Ask "What does D.C. stand for?
For GOD'S SAKE, NO ONE SEND MONEY! What is the statue of limitations on this crime?
Block these numbers if you can - when callblock is full, go back to beginning and erase some, bc they always change #'s.
The other half of the foreign area code calls are from "your pharmacy." What a racket!
Same guy called again today this time the phone was 313-355-9178 Mark Waller.
same Mark Waller (MARK WALBERG-I FIRST THOUGHT THE ACTOR WAS CALLING) called, garbled message. saying that he was DEA, and I had a federal warrant, I ask him who he was talking to...he said YOU, and I told him he wasn't talking to me about oversea's prescriptions...and I would be calling my local DEA, FBI, Police and Sherriff's office and he could talk to them because I would be giving them his number...this is a scam, and I will talk to everyone I can, because everyone doesn't have computers and know about this page.....everyone needs to know about this.....
i got the same call yesterday and today and was ready to pay to money (same lines as above) and my friend stopped me Thank goodness fo such a good friend!!!!
Just got a call from a Mark Waller saying he was DEA from the 97th District and was doing an ongoing
investigation. Thank god for this page. Almost fell for it!
Second call today, from Mike waller, this time I told him he was a scam and he just hung up. what special agent hangs up on you? What a joke.
Happened to me this morning. I didn't listen to him for more than a few seconds. Got the number on caller ID and found this page...
"Mike Waller" called me regarding a prescription I purchased from a Canadian drug company. He said he was from the DEA and proceeded to threaten me and said that I would need an attorney. He said "you're done". Obviously, this guy is an idiot and this has happened to a lot of people before. DO NOT LET HIM SCAM YOU!
Got this call today for the first time. Was kind of worried at first until I saw all of the other people on here. A long time ago my former boyfriend wanted to buy some viagra for his friend as a joke for a bachelor party of a guy. He ordered from one of these online companies with my information. Of course when this fake special investigator guy calls today, I thought back to that moment. Anyway, I am glad to know I'm not the only one. I guess this is the new way to harass people. They're should be a way to go after these people for harassment and representing themselves as law/federal people that they are not.
Same thing happen to me today (01/09/2013). I'm reporting this to my officals here.
They are still at it. I took the call yesterday/actually voice mail (1/4/13). Same old DEA BS line!
Same thing happened to me today! He told me that if I didn't pay a fine for drug charges that he was turning it over to the court and he said within 20 min two officers would show up at my location and put me in jail for 5 years! Total fraud!!!
You should have told him you have a gun and a tape recorder and that the call is being recorded.
Same deal: "Special Agent ~@something~trepanier(sp)" Called to tell me that I was part of a drug ring and that he was with the DEA. Since I wasn't cooperating he was going to dispatch agents to my "home location" (2 seconds later) to the location "of this telephone number" (my cell). He asked me if I had a lawyer, whereupon I hung up the phone. How he got my name, I don't know. Freak.
Ignore that caller, block his number and report it. The guy is a fraud.
The same thing happened to me today. The exact same words were used to me. Got very mean to me over the phone and told me to get a federal lawyer, And that within 20 minutes the FBI was coming to arrest me fingerprint me and put me in jail. Whats up with this country?????
Same story for me, but agent name was Mike Waller. I remembered that these calls always end in the caller wanted money. When he told me my fine would be $1,500 to $3,000 to take care of this problem I knew it was fake. I told him I was going to call my husband to talk to him about this, he panicked and told me that he would be brought up on conspiracy charges. I hung up on him with him still yelling on the phone to not get anyone else involved. He called again this morning, same guy, same story, but my husband talked to him when he asked for me. You are committing FRAUD he told him and I will be contacting our atty., the guy told him our atty would just laugh at him and then he hung up. We also told him we Googled his phone # and he was a fraud and he hung up. Not answering his calls any more!
Same as above he says he is a DEA agent has an arrest warrant in my name for ordering prescriptions over seas (which I have never done). Received this more than once says I can end it by sending money (sure) scam scam scam. I tell him come arrest me then and hang up. Been getting these calls about every 4 or 5 months for the last couple of yrs not same number but so far no one showed up LOL. I say hang up on this sorry you know what and report him.
This guy calls our business and says he is from the dea and I have done something wrong and they are coming after me. What a sicko.
We get calls from this number daily, usually asking for a Jacqueline Farley. On every occasion, we inform them that the number is wrong.
Next step is going to be calling our phone company and blocking the number entirely and filing a harassment complaint.
Scam! guy calls and leaves a message saying that he's DEA agent Christopher Randolph from District 59. First off i don't think DEA agents even have "districts". He then proceeds to tell me he has a search warrant and an arrest warrant in my name for ordering prescriptions over seas (which I have never done). Blah, blah, blah. It's the 3rd or 4th time I've gotten the same type of call. They will try to terrify you into thinking agents are on their way to your place of work to arrest you and ultimately offer to "allow" you to send money for some type of program to avoid prosecution. Just hang up!
Person called me and asked me to speak to "Tina", Informed that he has the wrong number and he called me a "Bozo"
