To a criminal, there is only one thing as important as money. Something they can make money from. If a computer calls every number from (000) 000-0000 to (999) 999-9999, a list can be made of live numbers. These are people that answer the phone (to numbers they don't know), or call back (numbers they don't know). That's why you get a hangup, or a "press 1 to be removed from our list". A living person has to do that & that's worth money to every scam artist in the world. Robodialers' can call millions of numbers a day, for next to nothing in cost. But the finished list is worth far more than the investment.

These guys call and hangup. What purpose is there in calling and hanging up? How do you sale something if you just hang up? hahahaha They call about three times a day! Other than aggravating I can't find a reason for them calling. They are sure wasting money for long distance calls. Silly company. I would never do business with a company that uses these types of tactics.

Received a call from 209-593-1150 today, said his name was Brian Curran of Ramero Levin and wanted to speak to my boss and that it was a personal matter. Very short in his answers, spoke quickly and got annoyed that I asked him to repeat the name of his company. Needless to say, I won't give giving my boss the phone number to call back!

Received a call today from someone named Ryan who wanted to speak to someone in our HR Department. When I attempted to get more information, I received very short answers. Like the posters above, I could hear other callers in the background so I became suspicious. When I asked Ryan what company he was calling from, he said Mr. Greg's office. I asked him what Mr. Greg's office does, and he said that they were a big name company for Hanson and McClain and that it was regarding money matters. He didn't want to leave a message so he said he'd call tomorrow. Sounds too suspicious to be transferred directly to anyone anytime soon.
