This number keeps calling and hanging up when we answer. When I call back it has a message that states "thank you for calling us back, please hold on", it then hangs up. ???

Called at 8:18 P.M.. Since we didn't recognize the number neither my wife nor I answered.  They hung up when the answering machine picked up.  My wife said they called three times previously (also unanswered). I got curious and looked up the number on this site.  After reading all the great info provided by others here we put the number in our phone directory under the name "don't answer".

Got call from this number also. And when I answered,  nobody is talking it's been 2 times called me. It's says Angels Camp Ca in my caller ID.

I am also getting calls from this same telephone number, but they hang up on me each time they call.  The second call today I just picked up and listened without speaking...after about 15 seconds they hung up without saying anything.

I keep getting call as well form (480) 422-0193 they will not stop, keep wanting to fight on the phone.
They told me they where coming to my huse tomorrow!!! I told them to bring all his friends and I would love to meet them... He he he..

How do we make them stop?

I have been getting the calls as well.  They have threatened to send something to my job.  They have my social security and bank account number.  How does this stop?  What should I do?  Never did anyting with company.  They would not provide me any specific information.  They could see my account.

I have been getting the same calls from a James King  from 206-787-9200. They have been harrasing me saying that they are going to arrest me at my place of employment tomorrow. Where so they get my information from they know where I work! I asked them to give me a case number and someone to speak with they told me they were going to make my life a living hell!! How can I get them to stop calling me!!!
They have an indian Accent!!!!

I got a call last night from 424-731-8199. They said I was being charged for a load I never received. They "transfered" me to a guy named Steven (which sounded like the same man)and he said they were going to report me to the State Attorney for a loan I never received. When I told them I never completed the application, he said it didn't matter. I asked him to call me back on Monday so I can get more information on this Insta Cash. Turns out I'm not the only one who has been harassed by them.

Well I fell for the scam once back around tax time.. with a company claiming to be insta cash.. and I paid the balance.. hell the scared the living day lights out of me. So here I am at work today and i am checking cell phone messages and here they are again.. so I call back and I tell them i just paid off a loan with them with another gentleman back in February.. they claimed I paid a bogus company calling themselves insta-cash. I wanted to investigate and find the letter i wrote the person back in febrary but they threatened to send investigators to my house. and started getting hostile.. and when I asked for a payment plan I was told no and that i would be transferred to some court room. to another rude person. the number they called me from was 530-331-8232. I am a single mom on a part time income. I have a few debts but I have never ever experienced mess like this.. There has got to be some way tp stop this. may be a class action suite for harrassment.

My husband and I have gotten several calls from an "Unknown number" I have asked them to stop calling and to take us off thier calling list. Today the man got nasty. Left a message on my voice mail saying that he would not be responable for the "legal actions" that be fall my husband if he didn't call Shawn Andrews back @ 530-466-7616. When my husband called back he was told we had to make a payment of $300 by noon tomorrow or go to court, told that he would be arrested, that he would loose his job. They said he had to fax them a letter stating that we want to settle out of court Attn: Kevin Fernandez (they spelt his name out) As my husband was at work and couldn't really speak to the man he asked me to call for details. This "gentalman" and I use that term lightly, called me b*t*h, hung up on me, and on several occations threated me.  I was called back in apx 5 min by a man claiming to  be the supervisor. He said he had already spoken to my husband and they had agreed to settle out of court. I asked for the details, account number, case number, bank name, name of the atterny, and was told I was asking stupid question that I would only recieve this information when I got my subpeona. He did tell me the atternys name was Kevin Hernandez, and beccame angry when I asked for clearification as that is not the name they gave my husband. I was told that I was being difficult and that they would be sending the police, and their investgators to arrest my husband tomorrow.
     I am to smart to fall for a scam like this. I researched it on line and found several people just like us that have had to deal with this verbal abuse. I want to know if there is any place we can complain in hopes of making it stop?

I have gotten tons of calls from this number 1-209-729-0307 to the point where it is now harassment. There is not a day that goes by, they call me five to ten times day at work. At home was the same thing but i put my numbers on the do not call list for telemarketing and they havet been able to get through so far.  These people are telling me that im being arrested for a bad debt that i have with some company called cashnet.If i didnt pay they were coming to my home to arrest me. These people speak with a very deep accent an Indian accent. Every time he called he used a different name. also when i called and asked to speak to someone higher he said there wasnt anyone higher then him. I got a name of elen sarker and i was told to call her back he told me she was fired today. i know this is a scam and they need to be stopped.These people had my name my email and my social. I filed a complaint at ic3.com I need to know what else i could do if they have all this info on me

should i tell them i know they are a fraud and then not answer the call anymore?  Do they ever stop calling.

209-729-0307. this number called me a lot of times a week. estimation of 8 calls a day. they were saying that a company file lawsuit on me because of unpaid payday loans. they were harassing me and told that i need to pay $1248 or $416 every week till i pay the full amount. this is a scam and i will file a complain against this crook. they also use 810-676-161.

Same thing just happened to me. They're obviously trying to scare people into giving them money. This is a scam.

It's not even 7:00 a.m. where I am and I just got a call telling me my husband is being sued by some payday loan company for not having paid his loans back.  I was told several times they can't disclose the information as to where the load was taken out from, but said someone would be coming to my house because we "scammed" them out of their money.  Of course they all had Indian accents and was told that we have to appear in California for court.  What can we do to stop this?

I just got 2 calls this morning, and the person was harassing me, saying i had to call within the hour, that he was an attorney, and for some payday loan I applied for but never got months ago, saying i was going to jail, etc. he had a middle eastern accent and this needs to stop!!!

I have been receiving these calls as well.  They have been going on for the last month or so.  They started out by trying to tell me that they were a "debt consolidation" company.  I promptly told them not interested and hung up.  They have changed their tactics now.  I have been getting calls very early in the morning from a fake number (810676161) and the person on the other line has been leaving the same message over and over again.  He told me to call him back at (209)729 0307  They finally called from a blocked number one morning and I answered.  After realizing it was the same guy I told him that I was not interested and told him not to call again.  He then told me all of my personal information.  I told him it was all wrong and hung up.  I then received another call about 30 seconds later.  It was another guy and I could hear the original caller in the background.  He said that he was going to come to [my address] and kill me.  I told him it was the wrong address and not to call back ever again.  As of yet I have not received any more calls.
These guys are probably located in India and are using Voice over IP to call us from what seem to be US phone numbers.  Now it seems that they are not going up and opening credit in our names, but we all need to watch out for that for the next few years.  You can trust that they will sell our information to anyone they can find.  You all need to contact any banks or credit companies you work with and notify them, call the Federal Trade Commission and IC3 and file a report and also flag your credit.  This can be done by contacting any of the 3 major credit reporting companies.  You only need to call one of them.  It is also wise to set alerts on your accounts so that if anyone does take money or charge something to your account you will know right away.  Also make sure to check your credit reports every other month to make sure no one is opening credit in your name.  There has to be a pattern here and I wish there was a way to find out what it was.

I was notified today that these people are calling to find out the name of my attorney for 3 separate charges...of fraud...embezelment and whatever else.

This is ridiculous because I have NEVER taken a loan out with any company calld Insta Cash USA.  They called about 10 times in 15 minutes, becase their phone kept dropping. Somehow they had the last 4 digits  my SSN and my personal email address and were calling me at work

I told him to stop calling and that I knew he was a scam and the acusations were false.

I'm getting harassing and threatening calls for 805-244-9027. Gentleman named Alex Rogers claiming he is an attorney in California for Insta cash usa and that there's a pending lawsuit against me and that I would be served with a subpoena tomorrow at my place of employment. When asked for a fax copy of this, Alex told me that by law he is not able to provide this information. When I further pressed this moron for information...he called me "Mother F@*&$#" and hung up on me! how can I make this moron pay for his errors????

i too was called by a man named george tht told me i was going to be sent to cort for check fruad because if a payday loan by insta cash usa, he gave my current bank name with a former bank number said i could pay 900. to avoind going to jail i explained to him that this was a  mistake and never had the loan. i called and reviewed both bank records, called the bbb and ran my credit report and no no insta cash usa loan . this man said he was an attorney for mcgoogan law firm in NC i called them and they said no and they were very helpful. this is a scam and i cant wait for them to get caught. dont give them your money.

Started getting calls at work. Called it back to figure out what was going on (724-893-1040) they said i was being sued for 3 charges of soemthing (tough to understand foreign accents). As soon as I told him i wasnt giving him any information because he sounded like a scam he got all hostile and said they were going to send a subpoenia to my house and place of business.

They had bank name and number, SSN, where I work, email addy, ect ect.

This has to be a scam, Im glad i found this page to see other people were getting it as well.

The same thing just happened to me also. They stated I need a lawyer. They said that I had three charges pending from a payday loan. When I asked them to give the number for the payday loan they said no. I could not harrass their customer.

I received a call from 542-222-4311 on 2/26 from Jason O Conners, stating I had defaulted on  a loan with InstaCash and I was going to be arrested for several charges including wire fraud and money laundering etc.  That I called them back in time to make arrangements for my balance.  I was absolutely terrified and since I had taken out payday loan before I assumed this was legit.  Well to make a long story short it wasnt.  I researched this and found that this has happened to many people over the last week.  I did buy a prepaid visa and give them the number but I never activated the card.  When i confronted them this morning tell them that I never borrowed money from them, I was going to call the FBI, FTC and a family friend was a Federal Court Judge, and I wasnt paying them.  He said have a nice day and hung up.  I am a good person and these as*hol*s prey on people is wrong.  This person jason o conners had a heavy indian accent.

I have been getting numerous calls from 209-729-0307. At first it was just coming up on my caller id as *69 I didn't get a number. they would call between the hours of 7:00am-9am daily. sometimes before 7am. Today the person called twice and he threatened and harassed me saying something about check fraud, had my info, said the cops were notified and arriving to arrest me, that i needed an attorney and said my family and friends would have to appear in court, that he was an attorney and had to pay and call within an hour at the above number. He had a middle eastern accent. I am filing a complaint asap

Also, got a call this morning from a david banks.  requesting me to call him back asap.  He needed to speak to me or my attorney regarding some check fraud.

I got the call as well. I think they're reading from a script. I called the Stockton Police Dept. I recommend doing the same.

got a call this morning. they left a message saying i needed to call them, it was very important. he continued by saying if i dont call him back he wishes me luck with mu current "situation". i called back and they wanted me to verify info, and give them my attorneys info cause they were trying to charge me with check fraud. he said he would call my local police dept and they would "come get me". i have no idea what he is talking about, could barley understand him, he had a middle eastern accent. pretty sure it was some kind of scam, so i changed all my bank info.
