I got several text messages from this number saying my achieve card had been locked and I needed to call. Very suspicious since I know exactly what 2 cards I hold are. I tried calling but it kept asking for my cc number, uh duh I don't have one. I waited a couple weeks and now that I call the number is no longer in service. It is definitely a SCAM! Don't give out any info.

My husband and I got the same text, but this one looked like they were claiming its a Wells Fargo card,  which I don't have.  I searched the phone # and found this site. Thanks for posting about this scam!

got a text 2 days ago 4342xx@account.com saying my card was locked, thought it was funny because I lost my wallet and cancelled my debit card myself and have been waiting for my new one. I have been looking at these boards and thought i would call to see if i can get someone to troll/harass back but the number has been disconnected due to participation in fraud...TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

I got a text on my computer modem from the 434258@wells.com saying "Your 434258XXX card is locked. Call 209-732-5672." did the same as someone else and led me here.My family is looking into it.

i keep getting texts from 530088@achieve.com telling me my account has been locked, told me to call 209-732-5672 called it and it says the number is not in service, after reading other posts i beleive its a scam. i also got one from someone else saying theres a problem with my account. this is so dumb i wish they would stop blowing up my phone!.

Received a text from 434258@wells.com stating my card 434258xxx was locked--message said I needed to call 209-732-5672 to unlock--Thanks to you guys I will not even bother calling--Anyone know who we can report this to--On 06-27-11 I did register my cell phone for the Do Not Call cell phone list (888-382-1222)--Not sure if it covers unwanted text messages or just unwanted phone calls

thank everyone for your post it really saved my butt the number one thing i was told by a cop is never give out any information unless you know that person. ill never repile to an unknown text message thats what contacts in our cell phones are for.

Just received the same one 434258@wlsfrg.com stating 434258xxx card is locked.  Call 209-732-5672.  Did a reverse lookup and seems this number is located in California.  Contacted Wells Fargo and was instructed to forward this text via email to: reportphish@wellsfargo.com.  DO NOT REPLY to text, total scam.

Same story here; "434258xxx card is lock" from 43425@wlsfrg.com. I don't have anything to do with Yahoo so don't think that's it. Where's the last place you used you "real" card? In my case it was Lowes. Maybe they have a security issue or it's a dialer just phishing for you info. Thanks everyone for the heads up and remember, Google is your friend. :-)

i got one to.I think they are interfacing through the internet.My daughter went through my facebook account and connected to yahoo.Had this problem once before because yahoo has no page protection anyone can back through and get into your account online.I would advice anyone that has yahoo to close it down.530088xxxx,is the message.I almost called it until i saw the web address.Thank god people out there are paying attention.Thank you everyone!!

text from 209-732-5672, from 434258@wlsfrg.com, saying "card is locked." i freaked out for a second and thoughts someone stole my card or my identity or something, so i called and it immediately asked for my cc number, but of course i didn't enter it and felt it was a scam, googled and got here, thanks for this site. hope they get caught.

Hi I just got this same text about the same number obviously this is a scam.  Thanks for the posts I am not home to see all my card #'s & had a bit of a freak out.  nothing to worry about i guess.

got the whole "locked card" message too... it is a scam do NOT call them back or if you do do not give out personal information at all!!! THIS IS NOT WELLS FARGO!

received a text saying my card 43258xxx is locked, call the # 209-732-5672 to reactivate.  I'm certain this is a scam, sinc so many others have received the exact same message.

I received a text from 530@achieve.com stating 530088xxx card is locked. Call 209-732-5672
I called it and like everyone else who called it asked for the 16 digit card number. Figured it was some sort of guessing game so I entered 16 digits it then asked to press #1 if correct and #2 if incorrect. I had a feeling that 1111 1111 1111 1111 wasn't correct so I pressed #2 and tried again 2222 2222 2222 2222 and so on. Finally the computer stated "invalid number" and went the call ended. Nothing about transfering to a live person or anything.
I think many people should do the same thing to keep the line tied up from someone who might not know this is a scam. Just make sure not to enter a valid MC/Visa/Discovery number though.

I did the same 'Googleing' thing for this same text message that I just received... scumbag-dirtballs that they are.... and found myself here, just like the rest of you guys.

Just got a text from this number. Same story as above "434258xxx card is locked. Call 209-732-5672." Text originated from 434258@wlsfrg.com. I do not have such an account.

I really hope they text this to a cop who actually gives them a legit credit card number and then tracks the card usage and arrests these F***** punks. I really despise thieves. I'd really like to kick them in the sack!
