I just got a call from this number supposedly from Charter.  Why would Charter call me from a cell phone?  They called me on 9/9/13

SCAM ALERT.  This is a prepaid phone number (TRAK phone) and they are trying to get information saying they are a service provider (they said they were Charter but everyone in my area uses them and Charter would not call me from a 209 area code.  I verified with my phone service provider that this is a prepaid phone.  They are trying to steal your personal information.  They tried calling me on 8/21/13.
