I have gotten calls from CB Merchant multiple times. They are trying to collect on a debt of S&S auto dealer services. I purchased a vehicle from S&S and the engine went out and I refused to pay for a vehicle That S&S refused to repair. we purchased the vehicle 7-3-2007 our first payment was due on 8-2-2007. before the payment was due the vehicle engine was gone. This is on my credit report and they are trying to collect for S&S auto sales $5,070.00. the vehicle was $4,999.00 I put down $1,000.00 I have paid a total of $2,845.00 and the vehicle sat in our yard until the tires went flat, oils started poring from the vehicle. someone called the police on us they told us we have to remove the vehicle because the neighbors were complaining. S&S would not fix the vehicle.

Please send me a statement of the balance that is owed to 1837 W Vine Ave Visalia, CA 93291. I am willing to pay but in payments for i can not pay the full amount at this point in time. Im showing on my credit report that the amount is $308.00 dollars. I would like to get this matter resolved soon.

This is a collection agency.

They call to try and collect on your delinquent accounts.

The caller ID states "Out of Area" but reveals the number as 209-944-9001.

They leave a polite message asking for a return phone call. This is a legit company (collections).

Yea, they call me too on my work cellphone and don't care that the person they're calling for doesn't have the same number anymore. I mean, the number now belongs to someone else, and they don't believe me.

I now screw with them on the phone for as long as I can then inform them that I am just wasting their time and preventing them from doing any real work. It's fun!

Had the same problem with CB Merchant Services. Outdated information and rude employees. If you'd like to complain directly call the corporate number and ask to speak with their president. More info is available at www.cbmerchantservices.com

The number 209-944-9001 is for C.B. Merchant Services who is a debt collector but seems to have a lot of inaccurate information and doesn't seem very interested in getting their facts worked out with the correct phone numbers.

In every contact we've had with them, they have been rude and obnoxious and they've hung up on both my assistant and me.  I don't know what company uses them for debt collection services but the ones our business has used are much more professional and effective.

I called back, the lady asked me for my name and phone number, then she hung up on me! For those that need a to get ahold of a "real" person try ext-125 Marissa. :0)

They are in merced california and they dont care they keep thier jobs just by attempting to collect they dont care who they are calling.... they collect for gym memberships and contract abortions.

I've spoken to an operator from this number, it is CB Merchants.  He asked to speak with my father-in-law, I asked who was calling and explained that he wasn't available to take the call and asked if I could give him a message.  He said it was a personal matter and could not tell me why he was calling.  I then explained that then he should not call my number in the future as this number did not belong to the person he was calling.  He said "Because I wont tell you why I'm calling, you're upset with me?"  (Rediculous accusation)  I told him I wasn't upset and I had a calm tone of voice.  (Defensive much?)  He then wanted to leave a number for my father-in-law to call him back.

They keep calling and I don't answer.  They do not leave a message.

They call our business a few times a week with an automated message asking for another company -- one of our clients who has long been out of business.  How or why they got our number as a contact for that company is a mystery to me.  CB may be a valid collection agency, but they need to do their homework about who they are calling.

Received a call on my cell phone. Answered and no one was there.  I understand their need to collect but when you're in bankruptcy it should stop!

I got this call today, and checked it out immediately. I am dissapointed to see that some company is still being allowed to harass people randomly almost a year after the first post here. Ridiculous!! I that should be up to the phone companies to police that sort of behavior

They are calling my cellphone and not leaving a message.
When I picked up the other day - it was an automated dialer saying, please hold for assistance.

Have been calling for 4-months on my CELL.  No live person, only automated service.  I have tried calling back to stop the calling, but I can never get anyone live

Auto dialer from this number calls my house almost 3 times per day everyday.  I have filed complaints with DoNotCall.gov and still has not helped.  I have called that number back, and there is no live person to answer the calls or even leave a message.  The auto dialer claims looking for Marcus Petcus, and it is very annoying.
