Just to let everyone know, this is from a company called Healthways.  They are a program attached to your employers or spuses employers medical benefits.  they are calling to see if you want to enroll in an optional program.  Check them  out at www.healthways.com

It is a service offered through your health insurance company, most likely BCBS IL, BCBS TX, BCBS NM or BCBS OK (the 4 listed are owned by the same company).
They are supposed to offer you assistance with chronic medical conditions like high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes etc.
It could be different programs they offer or just to be there to answer questions for you - like a nurse line.

I plan to report them to the Do Not Call List.  I have a doctor and his nurse.  They work with me well

Twice, on Friday 10/28/2011 between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., I got a call from 210-331-2222. I know that this is a "service" set up with my insurance at work, however, they did not respond when I picked up the phone. Then I tried calling back to ask them not to call me at home on a Friday night...four times in a row they hung up on me.

Had called several times before, but because I receive so many unsolicited/commercial calls on my phone, I hardly ever answer an unknown number unless they leave a message. WHICH THEY DID NOT.

I wish legitimate business services, that have reason to contact me, would LEAVE A MESSAGE so I will know who they are and can either call back or add them to my known contacts.

Called me 5/6/10. Caller ID reads: YOURHEALTHCOACH. I haven't listened to see if they left a message. Most likely not. I am not familar with this company, so I suspect it's solicitations. Area code is San Antonio, Texas.

I wonder if it's affiliated with another number that has called: (210)667-2547 NUTRICARE. This call I did answer and they wanted to sell me some HCG or HGC or something like that for weight loss.

I received calls from 7:00am est to 9:20pm est from 210-331-2222. I called the number back and received a representative from Medco (mail-order pharmacy.) I asked to be removed from their calling list. The person who answered then hung up. I immediately called back and allowed the line rang 11 times with no answer.

You are wrong. Just tell them you do not what to partcipate. I  took part in the program, she was very nice. We chatted every 6 weeks or so and i stopped after a year.I did not pay for anything. It is not a big deal. My husband said no thank you. The end.

Called reporting to be a representative of my company's prescription plan.  Got my actual employment company name incorrect.  Asked for my birthdate and I told them there's no way I would give that information out to someone I didn't call myself.  They said ok thanks and hung up.

Same as the other respondents... non stop calling every dayat 1:00 PM... gibberish and then dead line...
I will contact the Blues, my insurance carriers, and get them to stop the calls..... or since I live in CT I will sick the state on them..... CT loves to sue any company any time and for big money...

You are wrong, this is NOT something that you can Opt into.  I work for a major mail order pharmacy who utilizes this service and I can't even get them to stop.  They send me letters and call numerous times per day.  No one deserves to be cussed out ... the person calling you is just an employee trying to make money, NOT the reason you are being bothered.  However, this is not something you agree to have done like previously said ... and Optimal Heath is a pain in the butt to try to have them stop harrassing you.  I have yet to succeed.

I was getting these calls. I called the number, gave them the phone number they were calling. They were not looking for me, so they took me off the list. I haven't gotten a call from them since. My message left the return number of 800-634-1506

This is a service that you have to OPT IN to.  Normally through your mployer health care coverage..    I opted in because I got a discount on the health insurance through my job..     Don't cuss them out, dont get mad at them...   if you dont like them calling, call them back and have them remove you from the program.    like I said before, YOU have to OPT IN to this program, they dont cold call, and they aren't trying to get your money.

I put the call type as an event reminder as it was the closest to "something I opted in for and forgot about"

stop phoning and hanging up; your calls are unwelcome...if I want a health care advisor, I'll ask for one.  I have an outstanding physician group and we co manage my health and prefer to do so without the interference of an insurance provider's interference.
