They keep calling us although we are on the Do Not Call List (Ha!). We do not pick up and I have now blocked their calls.

I got a call from them yesterday, and two back to back today; I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number, and they didn't leave a message. I thought I was on a do not call list, but apparently I'll need to doublecheck.

Galloway is a research company that conducts surveys and focus groups and usually pay you generously.  The only way they get your number is if you sign up for them.

This number has called several times daily.  If no one answers, why don't they just take us off the call list.  We are not interested in participating in any survey. All this calling is so annoying.

Another annoyning call just at the wrong tome of day (DINNER).  I did answer and after a few moments the direction of the call got too personal.  I interrupted and told the gentleman to take us off his call list which he responded kindly.

Just another is a continual list of people looking for your money if some way or another.

Galloway Research is an opinion research firm. They are not telemarketers and do not sell you anything. They call to obtain your opinion on a varitey of subjects. They are not allowed to leave messages since it isnt anything urgent. They usually will callback the next day. Look up their website so you can familiarize yourself with the type of co. they are. Knowledege is power why are you going to criticize a co. you have no clue about?

Got a call about 5 minutes ago.(3:14p). The guy stated he was from Gallaway Research and wanted to know if I would be able to come down and take a survey taste-test of some chicken and they would reimburse me for my time in the amount of $45.00 cash.
I needed to pass a few questions to qualify... I guess I passed on age, but as soon as they asked for heritage/race (i.e. causcasian, hispanic, etc), I said, "two or more races".
He stopped and asked how would I put that on a form and I said "two or more races" since forms now have that designation... and he asked it again, since it was apparent that wasn't on his list and I said, "other." then he thanked me for my time and hung up. I guess I didn't pass the qualifiers. ;o(
Now I'm hungry for chicken! ;o)

As a market research interviewer - we do not sell a thing - we are NOT telemarketers.   We do not leave messages many times as this would impact the randomness of our selection.  

Many times we are calling because some product or service you use would like your opinion.   This can be done by phone or by in person research such as a focus group.   And Yes, your opinions are valuable.   Many times a research company  will  reward you with $$$.

this is for galloway research...i did a survey for them several months ago. you went in for about 3 hours and got paid $$$ to listen to local radio stations...they are not telemarketers....you should try it...it was fun...lot's of ghetto people there though...take your camera phone...lulz.

actually the do not call list does not apply to them as they are not telemarketers.  They don't sell anything and they actually usually pay you for your time.

They're not telemarketers.  They conduct telephone and in-person surveys and actually pay you money sometimes to participate.

Unwanted call and I am on  the so called Do Not Call List! I think these companies are finding out just exactly who they are contacting by us reporting these annoying phone calls.

Called my cell phone once each on 6/3/08 and 6/4/08 around 7:30 p.m. PST. Did not leave a message. I haven't received any calls from this number since then, but I'll be heading back over to www.donotcall.gov shortly...

Called my work today. I did not answer and they did not leave a message. If this company were legitimate, why did they not leave a message? Since I am on the "do not call list", shut them down!

They call me 2-3 times a day.  I have politely and, also, rudely told them not to call.  Tonight I had my spouse answer the phone.  If his mother were still alive she would have used 2 bars of soap on him but it will be interesting to see if they call again.
