Called, no answer, no messagae left. Came up as San Antonio Number.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. I just got this cell phone and new number a couple of weeks ago. I can't believe I'm already getting telemarketing calls. I haven't even given this number out to anyone.

Got a missed call from this number with no message left.

Ask your homeowner's insurance company (or any company from whom you recently requested a quote) if they sold your phone number!!

I got a call from this number (which everyone agrees is a burglar alarm company) the week after
I requested a quote on homeowner's insurance and answered 'no' to the question on whether I have an alarm system installed at home.  Hmmmmm....

Coincidence?  I think not!

Do-not-call was put together with good intentions.  What sometimes happens now is scammers get the list made available to them, then actually use it as a to-call list.  Illegal and unethical?  Of course, but if you give it some thought, any of us can buy certain prepaid phones, and make hundreds of annoying calls before they're *maybe* caught by tower triangulation.  Use certain dial-through services and you make traces even harder to do.  Certain VOIP services can use pathways and tunnels that make them hard to locate -- most will let you enter whatever you want for Calling Party ID.  And last, do-not-call never applied to calls originating from outside the U.S.  We can't send law enforcement into Mexico, India etc.

Best thing you can do is not answer.  If a call is coming from a state or province in which you know no one, let it go to voice mail.  Legitimate callers will usually leave a message.  If you answer you'll get tagged as someone who does pick up, and your number will be sold again.  Unfortunate we have to do all this, but the days of wireline and modest security of fixed numbers are going away.

Called me and left a robo message on my cell  "...if you let us install a small sign in your yard...."

Received call from 210-538-3630. I no longer answer any call where I don't recognize the number.

Just received a missed call from this number (Wed. March 5th, 10:15 A.M.). There was no message left and when I called back, there was a recorded voice stating for me to push any button to be removed from their list within 24-48 hrs. No company or personal names stated. I agree this is bs and I hope not to get charged somehow due to being hacked.

This number called both of my work numbers back to back. Both of my work numbers are not posted anywhere. Only the company I work for knows about these 2 numbers.

What is it about the DO NOT CALL LIST THAT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND?

Saw this number on my work phone as a missed call, did not return it. Now from reading other people's responses glad I didn't answer it.

These people called me 2 times yesterday but I was asleep. Go to this website and register your number. It will stop the telemarketers from gettin you're number. donotcall.gov

These idiots have been calling me for months.  Hung up on me when i asked to speak to supervisor after telling thrm everytime they called  to remove  my number. And when i called back to  yell at the dumbasses its jusy a recording  saying if i wanted to be on do not call list press any key. Um thats  what i been tryin to do for months. Ugh

I got this call once today. I didn't answer because I only call back if I know who they are, and/or if they leave a message and I know who they are. Thought is was my friend who moved to Texas but I thought I would just look up this number and it obviously isn't her.

They also called me on an app, i dont even own a phone, yet these people seem to always find a way

Got a call from them and it was on a app... not even a real phone... these people left a voicemail but i wasnt able to hear it. This isnt the first time theyve decided to call me.

They call at least once a week, 3 or 4 times in a row. They are so fun. Called at 3 am 2 weeks ago. It was great.

I like to mess with these people for fun bc at this point asking to be put on a do not call list or pushing whatever number to be put on the list doesn't work. I swear at them and insult them and they give it right back which proves this is nothing professional and clearly some type of scam. One of the girls was so pissed she put me on the call back list and they have called me 3 times since then. One I picked up and talked more s*** the others I just ignored. Hilarious stuff. Just want em to stop calling but I do enjoy the chuckle.

Got 2 calls from this number, one immediately after the other, while I was at work.  Luckily I checked this site before I returned the calls, because I thought they might have been urgent, since they were one right after the other.  Another ploy to disrupt hard-working people and try and get their money.

Several calls from this number to my cell phone.  I don't answer as I don't recognize the phone number.  No messages are ever left.  Call is coming from Texas (San Antonio).  After reading all the posts, I'm going to place a call to the Connecticut Attorney General's office to see if anything can be done to stop these people.  

This company has been calling my office for months now. Every time they call, I push the button to be removed from their call list.  They call back from a different number a few weeks later.  I just got another call from them a few minutes ago, so I pressed the button to get more info.  I was connected to an operator who asked me if I was the homeowner.  I told her that this was not a home that it was a business and I wanted to know how to be taken off of their call list.  She said she could help me with that and hung up.  At no point in time during the recording or when I was connected to an operator, did anyone say the name of this company.  Needless to say, I am extremely irritated.
