I've been receiving these calls from 210-586-1025 for the past few weeks. They don't usually leave a message. I did answer one call last week and they said they were from CHASE CREDIT CARDS and I told them there was nothing wrong with my accounts and I personally checked myself and then I hung up.. I just received another call from a woman from the same phone number saying she was from CHASE and that she was recording my phone call. I told her I was also recording our phone call and she said I had to shut my recorder off. I REFUSED, so she said call when I shut the recoerder off.. I called CHASE customer service and talked to a rep. They said there is nothing wrong with my account and they suggested I call the POLICE and file a report. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY TO YOU !!!  Call CHASE yourself and check on your accounts or log into your account and check. These people call several times a day, every day. PLEASE BE AWARE ...

I called Chase customer service who verified this number is not affiliated with their bank; the representative said unfortunately he receives about one call per week reporting this same number.  I am guessing they can legally use the name "Chase Card Services" as an llc or something similar.  The Chase representative said that the only way to deal with it is getting the number blocked by your phone service or reporting to police.  Good luck everyone!

Get calls weekly from this number but they never leave a message.  Very annoying!  If it is a legitimate business call from Chase, why do they not leave a message?  Is this a hoax number?  How do you get a number blocked from calling you?

They've called me repeatedly too. Having seen the reports here, I mostly ignored the calls. Answered one today, and I do believe it's really Chase, credit card dept. They knew the status of my account, status of my automatic payments,  did NOT ask me for any ID information except confirming my name. And they had an account status issue they wanted to check on. I believe it's legit.

Just called...didn't answer....noted the above posts...called credit card...I am on a scheduled paydown with automatic debits.  This number is no their normal number and "may" be tied to their debt collection area.  Does ask for social when you dial in.  I just paid per agreed schedule and will keep paying per agreed schedule.

OK...this number is legit...I just got off the phone.  My call was to extend out my payment plan.  The representative I was connect to after being connected and verifying security...was interested in extending out the payment plan...tried to get the amount increased but I said "no..it's working at the payment level it is at and on the date it is drafted out. Leave it as it exists."  I was thanked.

The initial call into the 800 945-2000 bounced me to India to their call center.  The representative who extended out my payment was a U.S. Citizen.  Just be ready to possibly be ask to increase your payment.

mmidiately file a repot with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.  You can file one for calls coming to your Cell phone or your land line.  You can also call the FCC at 1-800-225-5322 to report the caller.  The more complaints filled against a certain number the more high profile it becomes.

Event Reminder
I also received a call from 210 586-1025.  I have accounts with them that are on automatic monthly payouts and they confirmed that they did call via this number as a reminder to set up the next year of automatic payments.  I advised the agent that no message was left and that I had found blogs stating that the call was fraudulent.  She said that she showed in my records that a call did go out to me for that reminder and that when this year is up, I will probably receive another call about this time next year. Mine was legit.

Just got this call today, I did not recognize the number so I did not answer.  Glad I found this site so I know to just ignore it.  I am hoping they do not call endlessly as they seem to be doing with everyone else!

Its Chase, they call me 3-4 times a day and hang up when I pick up the phone.  This has been going on for months. I opened a credit card with them that had an introductory interest rate of 0% for 12 months and a credit limit of $5000.  The only reason I opened this card was so that I could leverage the money I spend on every day purchases to pay down my student loans and decrease the amount of interest paid.  I have never been late on a payment and have a credit score over 700.  When I hit a balance of $2,730. They sent me a letter stating that they ran a credit check on me and were dropping my available credit to $2,800, b/c I had "an insufficient credit history."  I called them told them that their reasoning was illogical, why decrease my credit limit now b/c of an insufficient credit history, yet initially give me a higher balance when I opened my account and had less of a credit history.  In reality this is a form of predatory lending, they try to force their customers in penalties so they can charge them fees, ruin their credit and jack up their interest rates.  They are a horrible company and no one should trust them with their finances.  Do I smell a class action lawsuit? Hopefully a lawyer out there will research if their actions are illegal.

THESE CALLS ARE DANGEROUS SCAMS. They are not from Chase. If you have a Chase account, call the customer service number on the back of your card and tell them you received phone calls from this number. Chase has verified that calls from this number are fraudulent. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES GIVE OUT ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION TO CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

I called this number and it is Chase Bank. I spoke with a nice person who explained that they are calling about a promotion. If you pay a certain amount of money towards the balance on one of your Chase credit cards, Chase will mail you a check for $100. I told her that I was not interested in that offer, or being called numerous times per day or week and I was unhappy about Chase calling and not identifying themselves...EVER! She apologized and said that the number will continue to call until you call it and decline the promotion, or accept it. My name was placed on a Do Not Call list, and she apologized ahead of time if I received any calls today from that number but to expect to not receive any further calls. Bottom line.....Call the number, say yes I am interested, or no I'm not interested and then politely ask to be taken off the automated call list. Ugh....Thank God that is done!!

I received a call from this scam shop telling me I was over my limit and I needed to make a payment.  I told them I was not over my limit and the woman tried to pressure me into making a huge payment.  I told her no and then called Chase to complain.  I was directed to the Fraud unit.  The company calling me is a scam.  They are not affiliated with Chase and Chase closed my account and is issuing me a new card.

Received three calls on 7/21 7/22 & 7/23 2010 from CHASE to check on my financial position and ensure I would pay the next payment due on 8/6/10.  Owe approx $600 an not a past due account.  Total harassment and beyond the scope of Chases authority.  AVOID CHASE AT ALL COSTS.  PLENTY OF BANKS TO CHOOSE FROM.

FRAUD!

This number has been appearing in my phone periodically for the past two months. The number leads to an entity that is mimicking Chase. When you call (210) 528-1025, a mock-up of the Chase Credit Card Services voice mail system prompts you to enter your credit card number over the phone.

I do hold a Chase account, and called the proper number (800) 945-2000 to contact them. The Chase representative told me that the company has not contacted me, nor would it from an unverifiable number. They also said they are aware of this situation and warn anyone not to respond to these calls.

I got a call from this message, they left a voice mail stating this was Ronnie from Chase and requested I call him back at 8778902941. I called Chase, they have no record of outbound calls to me and do not know these phone numbers. Chase requested I email the phone numbers to Abuse@chase.com to report the numbers to the fraud department. FYI- when I called in the real Chase did not ask me for my full account number.

Somehow my chase credit card # was stolen and used in Chicago(I live in Texas)...Chase flagged it immediately and we closed the account. 2 days after I closed the account, I started getting daily calls from this number around 9AM with immediate hangup and no voicemail left. Based on research, it looks like a phishing scam trying to get you to call back and enter your 16 digit credit card #. NEVER do this. I am sad to see that this number has been used for illegal purposes since 2009 and nothing has been done to stop it.
