fyi... i just looked up the bank at question. they are aware of the text messages going around and also emails too. its an alert on their webpage.

just got this text but from a 2105851482 number but gave a 8306450090 to call about it. i never heard of this bank before.

Received same message August 7, 2013 at 4:22.
Unsolicited. Not a customer of that bank. Called the number just to try to flush out the scammer but it's somebody's voicemail.

Just got a text message from this number. It states:
(GENERATIONS FEDERAL CREDIT UNION ALERT) your card #415725 has been temporarily "DEACTIVATED" please call: 830-645-0090... I don't have a card from this bank?
