Shoot.  I just called them and gave them my last 4 digits so they could tell me what the claim was.  Definitely need this group shut down.

210 is usually a San Antonio area code. Today I received false allegations and a restraining order from Sacramento CA... so it is wide-spread.

I got a call listed as "private number".  Voicemail stated I am in a great deal of trouble with a restraining order pending and I need to have my attorney call within 24 hours.  Left a return number to the Cayman Islands which is out of service.  I waited until they called again, an hour later.  It was "Amy Williams".  I simply asked what kind of trouble I was in and as she tried to threaten me with legal action, I started breathing heavily and asked what they would do to me?  Will they cane me?  Chain me up?  Punish me?  Then I made moaning sounds.  "Amy Williams" made a noise of disgust and promptly hung up.  Doubt they will be calling again :)

I feel your pain I just reliazed this is a scam after I have made 2 payments out of my checking account. Husband immediately contacted the back to stop any future payments. I feel incrediably stupid! I should have known it was a scam when they called my brothers cell for me and then said they couldnt send me a receipt for my payments being made.
I am also highly pissed off!!!!!!

I received the call and even paid the $100 to start the payment arraingment and now I am trying to make my second payment and keep getting the answering machine and no response back so if this is a scam I am truly pissed.

I just got a call from this company called Asset Management, and I was told that I needed to call this number within 24hrs. 210-892-1308 with a case #C55N2938 I asked what was this about. I was told by the caller she couldn't give me any further details about the case, but if I would call that number they would further assist me. Ok ma ma who am I speaking with and what is your number for which you are calling from. (because when I looked at my phone to see what number was calling me it was unknown) she replied, Tracey Farrell and if you wanna contact me just call that number that I gave you to Asset management and they would refer the call to me.

I immediately called that number at first I got a busy signal and I kept trying and finally the call picked up and the recording said choose an option I choosed option 2 lady comes on the phone this call will be monitored and recorder for quality purposes.

Least to say I'm not going to finish what was said after that and if that call was really recorded then OMG! I hate to be the person that has to listen to that recording. Because it didn't go well...
I dare you call my phone stating that I need to pay you $3000. for something I don't even know what I'm paying you for and furthermore if you are going to say that I owe you at least give me the right to see what you are talking about. This lady was so rude and had the nerve to interrogate me as if I was under some kind of criminal interrogation. Well I guess I'll be receiving a court order to appear in court in 3days.

NOT SURE IF THIS IS REAL BUT I AM NOT GIVING YOU AND NOBODY NO $3000. FOR NO CAR RENTAL. Furthermore you people need to stop scamming on hard working honest people trying to defraud them out of their hard working money. ASSET MANAGEMENT IS A FRAUD!!

Called my mother and left a message that I would be subpoenaed if I didn?t pay a non-existing credit card debt. I called them and went through a very scary conversation. Fortunately they were rude and offensive and that caused me to have second thoughts. Looked them up online and found the better business bureau report and realized they were a fraud. Still waiting for the subpoena.

My message was the same thing - although they did have enough sense to change the affidavit number!   I am also getting calls from the American Law Office (with all Middle Eastern employees with American names that tell me "God Bless You' right after threatening me).  I am sooo tired of these people!  I wish there was REALLY something to do about them!

This Number Called me at home today and it came up at Unknown so I answered it They were looking or my mom and they had a case number and the guy that was calling said his name was Chris Logan and that they needed my mom to call because there was a Complaint filed against her. I am so glad I looked on here to find out it was a scam.

I got this same call at my parents house 3000 miles from. I've called and called but they won't give me any information. I called from someone's number and now they won't stop calling. I keep asking for a court date and they said I have to be in tx but won't tell me where. They've begun harassing my husband and family but want provide any information. They said I'm refusing to pay but won't tell me what I'm refusing to pay. This freaks me out.

I got the same message that the rest of the people have gotten from a lady named Mckensie. She gave a claim number and said I would have to go to court and notify my attorney. I called back and they either hung up on me or said we are having technical difficulties and then hung up. Crazy, scammers that try to get money. They need to be stopped NOW !!!

Got a call today from UNKNOWN number telling me to call this number 210-892-1308 along with a case number to talk to an attorney about a restraining order that has been taken out against me. Wouldn't give anymore information than that other than to threaten me with going to court if I didn't call the number. I have no idea what this is about. I have no outstanding debts (if this is indeed a collection agency) and have no reason to have a restraining order and have received NOTHING in the mail about either of those things. After reading the other reports here I realize this is a scam and have reported this incident to the FBI and the BBB. I can't believe these people are still able to do this!

Not only have I received a call from Central Assets bunch of scammer's I have reported them and ignore their annoying calls. I hae also received calls from M Callahan and Associates same scam different low-life scammer's. DO NOT pay these people report them. Know your rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act because you do have right's.

Does anyone knows how can we create a class action sue against these people? I don't want any money, just to stop these scammers and see them ponished. I don't see anything done neither by FBI or TX General Attorney.

I got the call today morning, didn't talk to them. The woman said her name is McKenzie said there is a restriction order against me and if I don't contact me they will subpoena me.  After doing some research I see it is a scam, but I am concern. I don?t want to get calls at job or?. Where in FBI website talks about this scam, what I saw belonged to Pay Day Loan Scam nothing about these guys. Please someone send me the link to the page.

Got call from a very rude gentleman 210-892-1308 who stated he was with a Law Firm (Central Assets) he said my daughter had a case # and had 24 hrs. to call and talk to one of the attorney. They have contacted all my children, brothers and my daughters neighbors and told them she owed money. My daughter doesn't even know anything about owing anyone. Even if a person owes something it shouldn't broadcasted around the country. My brothers live in Georgia, North Carolina and I live in Indiana.

I just got the same call from that Lula McKenzie person and she gave me the same crap about a complaint being taken out on me and if I do not answer they will have a supeoa taken out on me with a restraining order.  Ok, what is the restraining order for, if they do find, take it out, I don't want to be around whoever it is anyway. LOL  I do not owe anyone and I work for attorneys.  I know this is a scam and Lula and her ppl can jump in the lake for all I care.  This is definitely a scam and I wil report them also.  I will no longer answer their calls.

I got a call yesterday, but the woman identified herself as Laurie somebody.  It was the same message.  She was a private investigator following up on a complaint where a Restraining Order was being placed against me.  She left an affidavit number, and instructed me to give this to my attorney.  I almost fainted, but when I called the number back, it was a collection agency, not the law. I only stayed on the line long enough to get the name of the company so I could look it up. I guess that's how they hook you into returning their calls, but isn't that illegal?  I had a similar problem a few months ago, where a fake agency like this told me a Process Server was looking for me, and was headed towards my job to serve me with a summons.  They told me that according to my state's laws, I could be jailed for not paying back a payday loan that I'd paid back years ago.  I contacted an attorney to call them, and it stopped, so I have no doubt my information was just passed on to a new fake company. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office on the last one, but never heard anything back. It makes me angry that they are using lies and fear to try to get you to respond.  Some of the stories on this message board indicate this company is calling their workplace, and that could get me into trouble.  I haven't spoke to these people, and never intend to, and am hoping they are wondering if they reached the right person.  So far, have gotten three calls, but only one voicemail.

I received a calll today and figured it was a scam and after looking at the messages am sure it is.  They told me the same things as the people above.  I don'towe anyone money because I paid all my bills of in February.
These people have been calling me with different people and names for over 2 years.  I have not been arrested yet or seen the problem with my name sent to me in the mail.

Caller left message with my employer stating that there is a law suite being filed against me and a reference # MO3I-2137. Left # 210-892-1308.

Just recieved a call about two hours ago. A very rude black lady stating I was being sued and that a restraining order was put on me. Said they attempted to sapena me several times in the past but were unable to reach me. Gave me case #MO3I-1275. Supposively I'm being sued by SWANFULL NETWORK. The scary part is that they have my full name,correct address and all but the last for digits of my SSN! My wife looked up Swanfull Network and found no results. So then she searched for the number that they gave me and it lead me to this and I am aware now of the scam!

I  just received a voicemail from 312-265-5880 from a Veronica Smalls trying to contact a relative of mine. The voicemail stated that a suit had been filed and to call 210-892-1308. She left an affidavit number and said to contact an attorney in the next 24 to 48 hrs. She also mentioned a restraining order. I called the 210-892-1308, and the company's name was announced -- Central Asset Bureau. I have no idea what this call was about.

Just received a call from a woman claiming to be a special investigator from number 210-892-1309. I live in Williamsport, PA. The message stated that I had to respond or a subpoena will be sent to me. I also had a claim number given to me and was told that I needed to call back at this number immediately...

Received a call from an unknown no. They left me a message to call  201-892-1308. Left a case number. Special Investigator Marie Barton. Said to call back the show cause contained a restraining order. 24- 48 hours to oppose this matter. They never said what company they were calling from or what they wanted.

Same here. Chris Logan called with affidavit number and all the rest. Exact same script. I didn't answer the unknown call and I'm glad I didn't! Ridiculous crap! Central Asset Bureau blah blah. I figured it was a Annam. I love how they end the call with ?good luck.? What legit company would actually do that?

Recd a call to call this number with a claim number and when called the number didn't get any answer.  Caller wouldn't say who the caller was representing just that there was action pending.

Got the same call as everyone else.  MR WILLIAMS, said someone is putting a restaining order on me that I NEED TO CALL BACK AND GAVE A CASE #.  i ACLLED AND THE b****** ch was rude and eventually hung up.  I was pissed and called back and got another A**HOLE.  I told him I was recording this call myself and he hung up.  I am contacting the atty gen, FBI and anyother agency I can.  This is completely crazy that nobody can put these people in jail.
