Aerotek - phone spam for Carpet Care and maybe others.
If you try to call them back, you get a bogus message that the phone number is not in service. Anyone on the National Do Not Call List should report them.

i pressed #1 as instructed hoping to speak to someone, but the call just ended.

I have been getting hang up calls from this number for the past two months.
They have even used another number, which, like this one is "not in Service"
What is going on? How do they use a non-working line ?

GOT A RECORDED CALL ON MY CELL PHONE OFFERING CARPET CLEANING. I ASKED THEM TO TAKE ME OFF THEIR LIST AS IT USES MY MINUTES. THEY SAID OK , BUT IT THEY CLEARLY DID NOT INTEND TO TAKE ACTION.

i haven't the slightest idea who they are...i am on the do not call list...

Called Dave's Carpet Cleaning after getting this call. The woman was very professional and said they get a million calls about this but they're not behind it. Apparently, it is some third-party marketing firm making these calls on their own (perhaps pretending to be an established carpet cleaning service to get your business). She said they were trying to investigate who was behind this.

Checked my Cellphone voicemail, and had a automated message from (212) 220 0016, regarding carpet cleaning. When I called back from a landline got a message that said the number was no longer in service

I googled this # 212-220-0016 and landed here. This # called me today at work. I didnt recognize so i didnt pick up. No Voicemail was left. The weird thing is today I got 4 unrecognizable messages. Which is out of the seriously out of the norm.

I also received a call on my cell phone which is registered with the DNCR from 'Dave's Carpet Cleaning'. This was an automated message from 'Diane' offering some special on a two room cleaning. The phone numer is not in service and I reported them to the FTC.
The itneresting thing is I recently got an additional cell phone with Sprint (which I since returned), and since I did that I have received all types of telemarketing calls on my original cell phone. I never got them before. I am convinced it originated with Sprint, since that cell phone was originally in my husband's name - 12 or 13 years ago - and some of the callers ask for him. Only Sprint has his name associated with this phone.

I also am on the DNCR and still get lots of the prerecorded "Hi I would Like to clean your carpets" calls that are usually listed as "Out of Area" or "000-000-0000". I just got one again a few minutes ago. On Jan 3 a company with the CID "Aerotek" and the number "212-220-0016" called and hung up when I picked up the phone. The number does not appear to be in service at this time.

Got a call on my cellphone from this number advertising carpet service. Tried to call them back on a land line to complain and got a recorded message (probably not from the telephone company) saying the line was not in service.

Same deal. First "dave" then some automated woman. I even tried to make an appointment but got disconnected. ID said "Airtek" but that's the first time I've even seen a name listed.

I got a call from this number (212 220 0016) today trying to sell me carpet cleaning services. What is interesting is that I never give my cell number to anyone BUT I recently ordered a bed from Sleepy's and gave it to them for the delivery. It is all very suspicious but you would think that a smart person trying to clean carpets could compile one heck of a call list by getting Sleepy's customer list. Did anyone else on this list ever order anything from Sleepy's?

I received the same type of call from the same telephone number, but when I tried to return the call to request that my number be removed from their call list, I received a pre-recorded message that the number was disconnected.

call came into my cell phone at 3:07 while at work. A recording of a male voice asking if I would like to have my carpets cleaned. I hun up with 7 seconds of unauthorized air time used. My cell phone and house phone is on the ,Do No Call List. How are these people geting awaywith this. I have not received telemaket calls in a long time.

I also repeatly get calls from "dave" left on my answering machine. Today I was home to receive the call and pressed 1 to set up an appointment. When the lady answered, I very kindly asked the name of the company and she replied Perfect Care Carpet. I then asked her name and she hung up on me. I have been getting these call for a long time even though I am on multiple do not call lists. I am determined to find them, so I checked around and finally found a listing for Perfect Care Carpet Cleaners located at 930 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306. I'm not sure if "Dave" is there, but I am determined to find out. Google lists their phone as (201) 610-0820. My next step is to file a claim at the FCC website.

the fcc doesn't do anything about it. they just put your information out there for law enforcement agencies who CAN use the information. no one will stop the company from calling you. yes, the small claims court is probably the way to go since the fcc will not act on your behalf. but the question is also, can you really locate the company?

Unauthorized telemarketer. I am on a do-not-call list.
| clifton nj 2007-12-28 21:33:34 Unknown |
they called my celphone too- I didnt recognise the number and the call was at a time I wouldnt normally expect the people likely to use my cel number to be calling so I didnt answer the call. Judging by other reports of this number it sounds like it was probably a junk call.

I just got a call, heard the pre-recorded voice from Dave offering carpet cleaning services and hung up. I checked my caller ID and saw it said 220-0016 and called it back in the 212 area code. I got some young-ish sounding girl on the phone and when I asked if she would remove my name from the call list, she said sure, and when I asked her if she had my number, she told me to "shut up, bi***." I reported the call on the FCC web site but does anybody know who is behind "Dave?" I'd love to call them personally and tell them what I think of their telemarketer.
