I got that message at 10PM from 518-417-4891 in Albany NY. I've heard the FCC has posted a reward to catch robo-scammers. I doubt anyone will be prosecuted. Best protection for the time being is turn off your ringer and check your Caller ID. Any number you don't recognize, delete it from your answering machine.

This joker uses different phone numbers Las Vegas, NV(702-705-7302); Northern Los Angeles, CA(805-408-4328,805-570-6779); Alabaster, AL (205-406-8421): East San Francisco Bay Area (925-221-2319).  These are just a few of the many and it's always John from the shipping department. ? They constantly change the number used to avoid being caught.

Just got another call hang up at noon PST. Those who previously posted the various numbers used point very clearly that we have to keep reporting every single number these scum bags change to. If so, maybe someday the Feds can catch them. If not, they will continue to change their phone number and keep conning in elderly or impaired friends and relatives. Warn those who you think may be suckered in by con artists: Any phone call to them for something is a scam and wants to steal their money and the rest of their lives. That may be the only way those who are not up on these horrible "things" that use phones can be slowed down a little bit. The list of phone numbers is very good -- have heard from almost every one of those numbers and have never picked up the phone.

anyway....Just another scam call that continues to harass me and my family by grabbing the phone to only find another scamming me with calls that I don't want nor have asked for.

The caller ID was "Out of area." No voice message was left. They are now blocked.

It turns out this is Instant Response Systems. Also uses the name Medical Alert Services.

The DNC registry is NOT A CALL BLOCKING SYSTEM.  Legitimate companies will respect it, but, criminals wont.  When you get a robocall, report it.  When enough people complain about it, THEN they take action.  And FYI, there were over 4 million complaints made to the DNC just last year alone.  Over half of those complaints were about Robocalls.  Now how much manpower would it take to investigate every single complaint?  
The more complaints that are filed, the sooner these CRIMINALS can get what's coming to them.

STOP BOTHERING ME !!!!

Call was yesterday morning, caller ID said New York. I didn't answer. They've called before, but this time left a message on my voice mail. Idiot robot doesn't know how to "wait for the beep!" So I only got the last part of the message. About an Rx savings card and medical alert bracelet or something or other. Another weird thing about this is that just a little before this call came through I was on Facebook and saw a come-on for this or a similar product in those annoying ads on the page. I may be an old lady, but I'm a smart one!

ID states New York, in addition to the number, left message to the effect that we are eligible for free medical alert system,press 1 to receive it or press 9 to opt out. We didn't answer- obviously a scam.

I have been gone all day today. Have caller ID, answering machine. This number called at 10:33am today. No msg. left. Caller ID said New York. Had I been home would not have answered anyway. I just confirmed that I am on the "Do Not Call List" 2 weeks ago. As I have stated before this list is a "JOKE". Just another waste of our taxpayer money. Needless to say this number is now blocked on my home phone. I caution again about punching numbers if you do answer these calls. My carrier Century Link told me couple years ago you can be giving these thieves access to use your phone number & can be charged for calls out of the country. Consumer be aware of what you are doing on the phone. I don't punch numbers at all. I have blocked my number & tried to call some of these suckers back & phone not working. How ironic not working when they just called me. Can someone explain this to me? I think I have asked this before. Also, PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THE EMAIL THAT YOUR CELL PHONE NUMBERS ARE BEING RELEASED. THIS IS NOT TRUE. THAT IS WHY I CHECKED THE DO NOT CALL LIST. I've received robocalls for a couple of years, finally learning about and investing in a call blocker.

There've been calls from "Dominican Reoublic" and even "Mali," as well as from local area codes, crime calls one and all..

New York is a first, and what makes it interesting is that I'd just telephoned Kaiser-Permanente moments before  and so a medical alert pitch follows witin moments?

12/20 12:30 PST "Your order is now ready for shipping"  is message left of voicemail.  It is a robo call about a medical alert type system and I have been pre-approved.  These calls are getting really annoying.  If I want this type of thing, I will instigate the application.

Obvious scammer, leaving no name or message.  Person or persons behind this need to be found, convicted, and put to death.

This is the same robo-caller SCAM with a new Spoofed phone number!! Medical alert now with prescrition discount card!!
Robo-caller made it hard to hang up until the recorded message SCAM was finished!!  Block the number from your phones and report it!!

Called at 9:40 pm last night.  212 area code - picked up since I'm in the NY area and thought it might be legit.  Computer voice - medical something or other.  Package ready to ship - press 1 to accept and will receive discount card for future.  Hung up......
