These calls have become so annoying!! I wouldn't mind it as much if it was only during business hours, but I'm getting calls on the weekends and even in the evening! It gets even worse, because everytime I would answer, they hung up. So now, I don't even answer. I'm a Fordham alum, but please stop calling me!! I probably would've donated if I at least received normal calls.

I was in school at that time. We petitioned against that wretched disgrace of a human from stepping on campus. The fact that someone stopped donating because we didn't want her to speak makes me want to donate and I am broke as hell

Asking for kidney donations. Sorry, I am using both of mine. Keep talking to the answering service because I will never answer any calls. Leave a message. If I know you, I will call you back. Sad that we've gotten to the point where we can't even answer our own phones expecting it to be someone we know. I haven't answered my own landline in over 2 years, and I am on the DNC list.

That's NOT how it will work at MY home, on MY telephone, on My dime, "Rams". I don't care WHO is calling: If it's not somebody that I want to talk to, it will ALWAYS have to "talk to the answering machine". I don't care if it calls FOREVER--I'll NEVER answer. That's how it works at My place, on MY telephone. I'm NOT sorry for any inconvenience. Mark.

I didn't know that the admin banned Ann Coulter. So much for academic freedom! I will note that in my next discussion with 212 636...

If you have to list your salary in a post the company or person(s) paying you made one big mistake.

Yes, this is Fordham; current students on scholarship, in fact, calling you about making a donation to Fordham. I know the prospect of donating while you're paying off your student loans might seem insulting, but those loans didn't cover the full cost of your tuition, the rest came from others' donations.  But, if you're not interested in donating, that's fine, just be clear with the caller and they'll stop calling you. Ignoring the calls, hanging up, or saying anything that might hint at a donation "later" won't stop the calls.  If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact them at development@fordham.edu.  Sorry for any inconvenience, Rams.

Why does fordham keep calling me for money? What happened to the $200,000 or so I already gave Fordham and am still making payments on? I hope they didn't spend it all on the hideous statue of st Francis or whoever across from the caf.

The caller hung up.  First the Jesuits told me not to just "make a living but to  make life worth living", then when I graduated and got a job there, they paid me and treated me like crap, then the graduate degree I got there wasn't worth anything, and now they resort to telemarketing gimmicks to get money out of me?  I thought they had enough rich alums to get money from who didn't listen to the Jesuits and majored in Business Administration.  Why don't they call them instead of adding insult to injury with me?

I know it's from Fordham asking for money.  After the administration forced the withdrawal of an invitation to  Ann Coulter to speak at the university, while allowing the likes of Bill Maher and Peter Singer on campus,  they can consider my 2011 donation as my last.

Got the same call. When I said the person they wanted was not here, they said "I'll call back another time." I asked who we should call back and their number, and the caller's reply was "we do not take incoming calls." I said "Fine - if you don't then I won't either. Do not ever call back."

I missed a call from this number; no message left.  Don't have any connection with Fordham, never attended it, both my degrees are from U of Wis-Madison. And I live in Madison.
