This number called me twice and when I pick up, it hangs up. Very disturbing.

Once you register, you do not have to re-register with the DNC. Its a permanent registry now. All you did was open yourself up for 30 day's of calls.

This number calls my home number daily. It is from an online sign-up scam that asks for your home number and what areas I have interest in hearing more about. This is one of the vendors; most have stopped since it has been at least 6 weeks, since all the calling started. I signed up again for the "No call" listing of my number(s) via the govt's website for this matter. This one is calling on a machine, so pick it up and hit your # button repeatedly, then hang up. It messes up the computer and should help to eliminate your number, but sometimes you have to be a little more cunning by letting time pass.

I have told these people I'm not interested but they keep calling. Better add them to my do not call list.

I receive calls on my pre-pay cellphone that I never pick up. I don't know anyone in NYC so I have no reason to spend 10 cents/minute for some kind of scam. They never leave a message.

Called my cellphone wanting to "update me on new & lower auto insurance rates." "not selling anything." I thanked them, told them not interested, remove my name from your call list, and promptly hung up.
