There is a voice mail on our phone asking for my husband. It's Calib Fritz from The Maxim Group, healthcare venture capital division. His phone is 212-895-3702. Thanks for the information all; now my husband knows not to call him back!

I was called by Joe Martin from the number 212-895-3537. Looked up on web and found this thread. Thanks for posting these numbers and information. Maybe Bernie Maddoff needs some cell mates.

They called me several times at work and at home. Wonder how they got my name? Strong scripted sales pitch on some IPO. Finally, I cut it off and asked them to email me a prospectus or something. She stammered, said it would be sent. Guess what, nothing sent.

You can call Maxim Group directly and file a complaint with a manager or the Compliance department, especially if someone was rude to you. They are required by law to remove you from their call list if you request it. Just go on their website and call one of the numbers on the "Contact Us" page.

Missed two calls from 212-895-3825 this afternoon. Now I feel lucky not having answered their calls.

Very rude, obnoxious person wanting to know my assets in stocks and other assets--if we have any. Persisted in trying to get us to use MAXIM. I told him I was notinterested, and that all he was asking was none of his business. He tried to persist, but I hung up. Is this a scam? If this is a legitimate financial business, it really needs to keep a watch on their telemarketers---and in fact, if legitimate and so wonderful, why would the business even to call up people? I think it is a scam.

Call comes into the office; caller says "Yeah, is [my boss' first name] in?" (This is not the shortened version of my boss' first name that all his first-name-basis friends call him--setting off my "telemarketer radar".) I say he's not in (true) and may I ask who's calling. "Mike" asks when I expect the boss. I tell him I don't know and ask to take a message. Mike says, "Will he GET the message?" I say, "If you LEAVE a message, he'll GET the message." Mike says he'll try him back later and hangs up. Guess who's NOT getting through when/if he calls back???

A Ryan from Maxim (per caller ID) with number of 212-895-3852 (per caller ID) continues to call IMA, asking for Don Harrison. Will not leave information for Don to call back, stating "will send an email." If this is a sales call, we would appreciate Ryan leaving his contact information, and what his call is regarding to pass along to Don. If this is a sales call and not pertinent to IMA, please take us off your call list.

Caller id read Maxim. Not easy to find info on the company, but they are: http://www.maximgrp.com/growthconf/pres_info.php peddling "investment presentations". All *very* reputable, I'm sure. I'd invest/buy stock from people who won't identify themselves, wouldn't you?
