This jerk is very aggressive - which really doesn't work well when you have such a thick accent. I'll be honest. Anytime I hear such a thick accent and they are telling me something that doesn't make sense -- then it isn't sense and hang up! This was a return number for me not a call from this number. I'm suppose to call Jack as he will fix my computer that has problems. Nuts!
The original call came from: 1-287-564-5686 - which I had never heard of that area code and made me very suspicious.

MSFT essentials is a free download from MSFT and fully supported by MSFT via updates. I've never heard of anyone being legitimately charged for it and it's probably illegal to 'sell' it.

Persistently calling my retired mother and claiming that her computer is having issues even though I just gave her a newer machine with Win7 that I built for her and had on the network for four months before installing it at her place a week ago. I installed MacAV from the start so MSFT essentials is not needed and I always turn off all the customer improvement experience so I think the machine change is a total coincidence. May just call him up and record the conversation and file a complaint with the state since my mom is on the do not call registry and in this state, we can collect $500 bucks from these scammers.

caller identified himself as John Riechapton from SIS CAT and stated I needed to be on my computer to fix a problem. This is a scam. Wondering how he got my number and wish someone could finally trace this source and but an end to their scam ring. I have received at least 3 calls from different callers this month. I asked for information and the caller stated "why do you want my name, do you want to marry me?" I asked for a call back number and he had to look it up. I told him that he should know his own number. The call back number he gave was 213 260 2279.

this so called company called me about fixing computer problems. the caller was obviously from India. I stupidly allowed him to take over my computer. he found numerous problems with the performance. I thought he was from a company calling itself "customercare@globalserversupport.com" from whom I purchased repair services last November. This was to cover a years service. this company (?) gave me a contact as: syscare247 technical department toll free no. 888-882-7930 Robert Harriss employee 101 extension no :7710. I did not give him an order as I suspected something was wrong. what he proposed to do i think i accomplished successfully making some changes using the "performance monitor". if these people are running a scam they should be prosecuted. I now think the company I dealt with last November was a fraud also.

Ps. If you look at the numbers the 212-401-2989 number is listed as Zooz.com .....? Not a company listed for home computer service.......

This is now claimed to be technical support with a group associated with two companies that appear to be running a scam! A guy from global consulting (aka-zoos.com, aka-Junkwiper.com) contacts my 80 year old father and is offering to fix his computer, he gets an original email from admin@junkwiper.com, and pays for them to fix his computer. Then he is switched over to a second company for his follow up maintenance ( hence the companies listed above). They screwed up his computer and left it running with a modified configuration.sys file. Then hit him with a second bill for two hundred dollars. They are associated with this 213-260-2279 and another number they use at 212-401-2989. Now they won't do anything for him because he stopped payment on his card...
