The same here.  No phone call, but our company received an invoice billing us 215.36 for 2 toners, Laser CTB Black HP 4,5, 5L, 3300.  Called their office, the voice message was full.

This is definitely a SCAM.....

DITTO! SAME AMOUNT, SAME PRODUCT DESCRIPTION, SAME VOICEMAIL!!!! WE DON'T HAVE ANY OF THESE PRINTERS EITHER! NOT TO MENTION THEY MISPELLED OUR COMPANY NAME!

Did not receive a call but did receive Invoice No. 68137 dtd 03/03/09 from CENTRAL DISTRIBUTION CO for 4 each laser cartridges Item Code A330-54K5, LASER CTG BLACK HP,4,5,5L,3300 at $212.46 each for an total amount of $862.42, plus $12.58 shipping. SOUND FAMILIAR?  Being the Buyer for my company and knowing I did not place an order with this companpy (also no Purchase Order No. referenced on the invoice), plus the accusations of "scam" towards this company for the identical invoice amount and product description, pretty much supports the claim of fraud.  Therefore, DO NOT PAY AN INVOICE FROM "Central Distributing Co." and then REPORT THE MAILING TO THE U.S. POSTAL INSPECTION SERVICE FOR PROSECUTION.

Received another invoice from PRESCOTT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS for 4 laser cartridges: black HP 4,5,5L,3300 in the amount of $872.68. Again, not paying this invoice and reporting to authorities.

Did not receive a call but did receive an invoice today at one of our 13 locations from CENTRAL DISTRIBUTION CO for 4 laser cartridges: black HP 4,5,5L,3300 in the amount of $862.42. This is a scam invoice.  We will not be paying but will look into reporting this to the US Postal Inspection Service.

They have changed their number:  213-265-6577.  Hey we got scam charged more than the rest of you!  Our invoice is for $872.68.  I guess it is this bad economy.  :)

Same here, $862.42 for 4 toner cartridges for HP 4,5,5L,3300 printers.

Bill to and Ship to were for our P.O.Box address which would never have been used for a shipping address.

Received $862.42 invoice for 4 over-priced toner cartridges, but I never ordered or received merchandise.  Complete scam.  I received the same type of invoice in December... same California address, different phone number.

Also received a bogus invoice. I am hoping they DO call to collect at some point. The address they expect stupid people to send their checks to must be valid, tho. Why can they not be reported and arrested at that location for fraud?

I also received a bogus invoice from the same company. No one has spoken with them at our plant. The invoice is for toner at a cost of $862.42.
This has happened before, they are betting on the accounting dept being too busy to check and sending out a check. It's nothing more then a modern day boiler house, the lowest life form. Don't be fooled.

Received an invoice for 4 HP laser toners for a printer we do not own.  I have not called the number on the invoice yet but given other responses regarding "Central Distribution Co" in Pasadena, CA I am going to assume this is a scam.  The invoice will not be paid.

We also received an invoice for $862.42 for toner that we never ordered and do not have machines that even take the toners that are listed on the invoice!!!!!! I am NOT GOING TO PAY THIS INVOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!
