Just received a phone call from an officer Christopher Brooks, East Indian accent, 911 #, telling me he was and police officer and that there was a warrant out for my arrest for a Payday loan from US Cash Advance for $400.  Asking me what am I going to do about it, telling me I need to call this other # 408-905-2499, and make payment, then call him back at 213-289-3926, to confirm payment.  And that if I didn't make payment, he was going to arrest me at my job.  I told him I am not paying anything over the phone for a loan I didnt take out.  He got real angry and started threatening me, saying he was going to come to my job and arrest me.  so I told him I was broke and that I would make payment on Friday, that was the only thing that made him happy.  So I got off the phone and called my local police department, asked them to check if I had any warrants out for my arrest and he laughed, saying that $$$ issues are civil matters, and are not handled that way.  He did confirm that I do not have any warrants, which calmed me down, and that this is a scam.  I called him back, telling him that it was confirmed by my local police department that I do not in fact have a warrant and that things like this were handled differently.  He tried to say he was in LA and they work different down there, and that the police dont have national databases for all of CA. LIES ALL LIES!!!  I called him out on it and would not back down, he then hung up on me as they always do and will not answer the phone.  And funny thing is, when I called the other #, it was his voice on the recording, sooooooooo there you have it, THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just received calls and voicemails from them too.  It says California and I live in Ohio and I know I didn't do anything illegal for them to bother me lol.  I think it's a scam too.

I reciievd a call from this company stating that they are a law firm and I have debt with them never heard of them nor have I recivied any papers or anything I just think this is a scam to get money

I received a phone call to my office.. since I did not recognize the number I did not pick up. I have no idea who they are or who they represent.
