Sick of calls from not just this # but others The whole system sucks your name is sold and big brother is watching you, meaning your privacy is sold to the highest bidder and out sourced to India China were ever all for a buck, am I not correct on these thoughts!!

You called the number back.  I thought 4 ringie dingies and they get your machine - if they call again - you pick up and hang up.  .  
But, you call the number back?  What's up with that - thought it was no big deal.

If no big deal, why even comment?  Why pick up and immediately hang up?  Just ignore the 4 ringy dingies like you did with the initial call, then Fuggadaboutit!  End of story - no big deal.  And I definitely wouldn't take the time to post a comment about it on a blog site for unknown calls.

Answered the call-a young guy said he was calling about dish tv-told him I was not interested and he asked interested in what.  I said whatever it was and asked that he please take my name off the calling list.  He said he wouldn't do it that if I wasn't going to listen to him, he wasn't going to listen to me.  Called the # back--recording said call could not be completed as dialed.

Received a call at 5 PM today.  When I answered, they disconnected.  The number is 213-323-6857 but says "Name Unavailable".  I immediately redialed the number and got a message -  "You have reached a number that is no longer in service.  Please check the number and try again"  Odd.

The person is calling from an ipod without a microphone. I know this bc I have an ipod and there is an app where you can make calls for free. You don't have to even have a mic to do it- u can hear them.but they can't hear you. that's why you can't call it back. Even though it says its an LA number its a good chance that its not. I live in ohio and my area code for my ipod is 212 which is an nyc #. Hope this helps!

My call was much more specific.They left a message concerning a contract I had with their company for property I recently purchase in Myrtle Beach S,C, This girl left me an e-mail address and phone: jennifer.mason@wyn.com and an Orlando  phone# 407-626-6567. I wish I had purchased this property. I'm sure if I called, they would try some identity fishing. Maybe I should waste their time and feed them bogus information.

It is Dish Network wanting to sell you satellite service (or at least was on 10/26/2011 at 7:35pm) and wanting to know how much I pay for Suddenlink cable as VIP.  Caller ID shows up as CALIFORNIA CALL

Who has this number as there was no name or message. Hung up.

I got this call with no message and no name. Who could it be? I reconize the 213 as it is in LA area I believe because I use to live down there.

People/businesses who do not know me personally have no reason to call me every day, and harrass me.  Stop calling me now!  End of story.

I got a call from 213-323-6857 & when I answered, they hung up. I could hear noise in the background, so I know someone was there.  I've decided that if they call back, I'm going to answer the phone screaming as loud as I can. HA!

And I think I may have to change my answering machine message to what "Corky-G" said!  :)

sat/cable service offering some kind of deal. girl sounded white and spoke perfect english, was very pleasant to talk with compared to most people who call.  i didnt hang around long enough to get the company name.

Same routine.  I called the number, 1-213-323-6857, that after the bugle tone, the operator said the number was disconnected.  Obviously an illegal call using a bogus phone number.  Hope they like my answering machine message!
