just receiived a text from 1410000001, telling me to call 213-465-4121.  this is absolutely ridiculous!  my husband is deployed in afghanistan, so when i get strange texts and numbers it freaks me out!  how do we block this and whom do we contact to report this.

Receiving a number of text messages requesting call back to this number, saying texted from HSBC within 10 min.

I am getting the same text messages about 50 of them,I called my carrier and first at all a person who answered my call barely speaks english then he told me there is nothing the telephone company can do,I am tryng to block this number from my device an a last resort will change de telephone number,it seems to me that all these crooks are roaming free to victimize anyone and we can not get help.

I keep getting calls from this number.

18 text messages asking me to call this number all saying

To which I say, WTF?

Got the same message, but it came from info@tjconsultores.es which made me very suspicious. Why am I getting a text message from "TJ Consultores" in Spain?

I replyed block like hector said and it stopped worked for me

Take my advice that I just sent to you guys above. I called HSBC (I have an account with them) They noted it but there isnt anything they can do. We arent the only ones. I am live chatting with At&t right now and they are telling me that its coming from an email which is why the numbers are missing one digit. Pretty much ignore it or reply BLOCK, which I am weary of doing. But I'll try it anyway.

hector : I called my bank to verify if it was them calling me but they denied it and told me that they have had a few complaints in the past few hours about these prank or scam/spam texts.

hector placeres: ok I did it but its asking for the senders phone number, everytime i send it to them the automated att message states that it needs the number. I guess your computers wont accept the number i sent because its not a full phone number.

I just called HSBC, they have gotten a few hundred calls about this, do not respond to the text nor call the number, call your service provider and let them know you are being spammed via text.

I also received 20 messages within 10 minutes...trying to think of who i gave my number to recently, and I think I gave it to ebay today when i made a purchase.  anyone else use ebay today?

I just got bombarded with texts as well ... 42 of them! WTF! Called the number but I get a weird beep similar to a busy signal. I am not even going to bother calling HSBC with this but then again I do have an account with them ... just got two more texts, 44 total so far ... damn two more lol ... 46. My bank account was once hacked into and I was robbed of four grand and only got 3500 back from the fraud department. HSBC SUCKS! Four more texts ... this is annoying.

This is a scam.  HSBC Bank does not text any alerts. Dont fall for this, Dont call or do anything but report it to HSBC.. this was a text message alert, not a call.
