Is harrassing me.  Do not answer their calls.

I got an automated message telling me I've "won" a free digital cable package and that the government is making it the law that everyone must have their TVs updated to digital.

They keep calling all the time.  Not only my home phone, but my cell as well.  never say anything...just hang up..when you return their call, you get an automated message that says call cannot be completed at this time.  I also get a call from a Detroit number as well.  This is so frustrating....people need to get a life and stop harrasing us!

this number is calling me and asking for me by name and my phone is not it my name?? How would someone know I would be at this number.  I don't have my name listed anywhere in relationship with it?

I received a missed call from 213-504-7024 it is an LA number.. When I try to call back I cant get thru.. says there is an error processing my call please check the number and dial again.. googled the number and found this message board.

called two times today and leaves no message but you can hear them hang up. don't know who it is.

Missed call...no message. I tried to call it back, no answer, it just rang, no voicemail. I keep gettign these weird #'s callign me lately. Not sure why.

The do not call list does not work because no one enforces it...99.9% of everyone just moans and bi****s about it "stop calling me" that is as far as it normally goes...if you actually want the calls to stop. shut the hell up and take legal action...so what smart att will take a no money case...looks like you are in a catch 22...if you are smart...you will call your phone company, and make your number private, then enable your call blocking features on your phone...now stop bitching!! take action or shut the hell up....

Got a call from this number 1-213-504-7024 The ID name said it was from LosAngeles CA.  called about 12:06 CST.  They did not leave a message.

call back and says all lines are busy...

Man called at 8 PM.  Selling HCG.  The instant I said "PUT" (as in "Put me on your DO NOT CALL list."), he hung up.

I just got the call about carpet cleaning and pressed the 3 to be removed.  Of course, the recording says that it is an invalid response, however - I discovered that if I HOLD DOWN the 3 then the recording gets stuck repeating itself and ties up their line for as long as I hold the 3.

IF EVERYONE WHO RECEIVES A CALL FROM THIS SCAM JUST HOLDS THEIR NUMBER 3 DOWN AS LONG AS THEY CAN, WE CAN TIE UP THEIR LINES AND BLOCK THEM FROM CALLING US!!!!

I put a clamp on my phone to hold the 3 and it has been that way for over 30 minutes while the "invalid response" announcement continues to repeat itself over and over and over.....

This trick should be posted everywhere!  Hold down the 3 as long as you can AND DELAY THEM.

I don't want anyone calling me trying to sell something. If I need something I will go by it or look for it myself.

These people keep calling everyday even though I have repeatedly told them to stop calling. I am going to find out where they are and drive to their office with a shap ax and cut of all there arms and legs and feed them to a rabid doberman then piss in thier mouths!!!

I've been getting calls from this number twice a day. I answer and they hang up.

hi folks - yes this is just a call center - for me it is an internet marketing company trying to sell me some extra stuff - and like a previous poster said Rasmussen is a name associated with this number and he is one of many internet marketing gurus - but being a call center or telemarketing center it could be collection calls, cable tv, or just about anything cuz thats how they work

Called on Saturday and again today to my cell phone (which is on the do not call list) - they did not leave a message either time (and I refuse to answer the phone since I do not recognize the number).

I just called the 866-225-1956 and requested to have my number removed from their list. I have been getting the same call for the past 4 months from 213-504-7024 and the recorded message states they are calling about the factory warranty on my vehicle, which is about to expire and it is urgent that I contact them. One day I decided to press 1 in order to speak to a live person to inform them to take my number off their list. This man comes on never identifies his self or the Company and yells at me "Didn't you hear what I said just give me the make and model of your vehicle" I yelled back and said don't you dare raise your voice at me, just who do you think you are talking to, just remove my number from your list and don't ever call my house again, and then I hang up. So thank you Josh for the information to contact them directly to have my number removed. I pray that this will stop the calls.

Auto-dialer called for a telemarketing company, my phone caller ID noted "California Call."  Answered and got a pre-recorded message about federal government mortgage loan assistance.  Once you get a live person on the phone they go into their pitch.  The guy I spoke to was "Nathan" and he said his company was Gulf Mortgage.  Pressed him a bit, he said the company calls from Houston, TX. Informed him that telemarketing calls to Florida consumers, using an auto-dialer with a pre-recorded message, are illegal in our state - can be fined up to $10,000 per violation if reported to the FL Dept of Agriculture & Consumer Services -- enforcement agency in Florida. Nathan was overzealous his push and brashly insisted I was wrong about what I said, so I explained why I knew what I did which antagonized him further -- so he said he'd be sure others would call my number too. After I hung up and researched the company, here is the info I found:  Gulf States Mortgage Company 5206 Fm-1960 W, Ste 210, Houston, TX 77069. Office phone number:(281) 537-8999.  I then called the company and spoke to someone there and confirmed that "Nathan" was indeed on of the telemarketers there.  The counselor and I had a very interesting conversation to say the least.  In most states, compliance with any telemarketing laws is not an option.
