Payp scam...then gets offended when I called him out on it.

This buyer just tried to scam me. Selling a car and he wanted it and wanted my pay pal info.. LMAO..

If anyone knows this guy and see's him before me slap him. For sure a con and an irritating one at that.

This person keeps texting me to set up a Pay Pal Account so they can purchase a Motorcycle I have for sale on Craigslist, at all times of day & evening, I told him that Pay Pal told me to put Motorcycle on E Bay & do sale that way or cash or cashiers check, then they responded, "What the Hell do you mean?" Hope the texts will stop...

Larry in California!? He told me his name is Barrett in parts undisclosed. He is also eager to get my Paypal info and email address. SCAMMER!

Same thing here. I have a 2003 Yamaha silver edition 1600 CC bike listed on Craigslist & this guy is texting me non stop with the same questions & wants paypal info. I'm not that trusting anymore...... So I did a phone # check to see about area code 213... In Caly ?  I'm in GA. This guy/gal ??? Who knows? Never asked about shipping or where I lived in GA. I'm glad to see that we can get the lowdown on this kind of thing & are able to help each other out.

I am in the middle of texting back and forth with this guy. I figured it was a scam but decided to play with him for awhile. I sent him a paypal request for the money, and that's all he gets. I got an email address from him of  grantbarret001@yahoo.com.

I have the same number contacting me.

Im so glad I googled this number and this page appeared ..thank you God..he/she wont get my burgundy and chrome 750R motorcycle..Its so obvious..Cash in hand requested and then "im a verified paypal member its a 100% secure..kick rocks!!!

I just put an ad on Craiga list tody and he is textingy husbands phone and asking of we have a PAYPAL account!! Asking if our Topper for truck is in good shade? He says because there is a lot of Scams out there.. So he doesn't want to be ripped off.  What a jerk!

Got a call from this number about a heavy equipment trailer I have for sale.  Same bull as Lisa907.  His name was Larry Grant and he is hard of hearing so he  can't talk on the phone. Asked me who the legal owner is and do I have paypal.  Did a little research and found no name for this number.  Kept going and found this site with lots of complaints about this number and that it was a telemarketer number.  My advice to everyone is Let the Seller Beware!

Well he is still at it. Just text me wanting to know if boat was still for sale and its condition which is clearly described in the ad. I told him to get a job and google his number.

got a text msg regarding my 2005 ford mustang  he wanted my paypal info and when i told him there would be a $475 fee for processing via paypal he didn't want to purchase anything i guess because he hasn't gotten back  even my 18 y.o. thought it was a scam   this guy is not very smart  he also used the excuse that he was hard of hearing from the army and his name was Larry Grant  I googled his number and found all the complaints

They wanted a pay pal account to pay for my motorcycle.  I told them I would give no info because of the scam reports I take as an officer and the texting stopped!  Beware of this number and don't give out any information.

Be very careful of this individual, as explained above as of this date this individual is doing the same thing.  Read what craiglist states to be aware of.

This dude just tried texting me about a truck I have for sale. I googled his phone number and found this. So before he had a chance to get into it all I just shot him a text saying that I didn't have a paypal account, which I assumed he would want me to have with him living in California, and then I asked for his own checking account and routing number so I could clear it through my bank. What a waste of time and energy for people to do crap like this.

This guys doing the samething to me. tryed to get me to set up a paypal I did. Only after he said he cant send the money anyother way. So i figured it cant hurt what his scam is he is having people set up paypal account saying he posted all the money you want for what ever your selling and plus extra for the cost of shiping. I checked on paypal it says my balance is 0.00 dollars and no activity. But some how this guy is sending emails from paypal saying he deposited 5755 dollars and they will release the money once i send western union only 1155 dollars to a shipping company. That is also bogus. I hope this guy gets caught. big time scamer. He has an excuise for everything. I didnt get the hard of hearing story Larry Grant. Who is an NFL player. told me he is at work and cant talk on the phone but he can text like crazy. Well I told him my name, legal owner's name and my email address, then decided to google his number, and found this! So i asked his last name, no reply, then said I was going to report u, scammer! He replied what the F--k you talking about! I stated u know jerk, I googled your number, bug off!
