Got a call from 213-995-5579 offering a Visa Platinum Card that would improve credit score. I am a victim of ID theft and told them such. I wanted to know if someone had applied or if this was an unsolicited call. She hung up after confirming my name and my address. My husband tried to call back but all it wanted was name and phone number on the message. Did not say what their company is at all.

I also got a phone call from them yesterday.  didn't recognize the number but am glad I checked it on google.  Nothing suspicious that I know of happening to me with regards to my Id or Credit.

I did receive a couple of calls from other people in the past couple of months offering free cruises or vacation if I had a valid credit card.  I hung up on those people, So if it is a scam I wouldn't respond.

I received a call from this number too and didn't recognize it either. Then went to google and found this site.  Strange.  Glad I didn't answer it.

I just received a name unknown call from this number. This lady offering me a credit card from the International Company. She said it was based out of Florida. The card has zero percent interest for the life of the card for a $3500 credit limit. She said she was referred by the transunion company because I was recently turned down by a company (true). However, she said there's only a processing and shipping fee of $25 to get this card. She asked my address, which was an old one, then told me she can't ship to Alaska. She then asked if I had an address in the States. I told her that was odd, because my other credit cards had no problem shipping to me here in Alaska to take my money. When I couldn't find my address book to give her a lower 48 address, she asked if next week would be a good time to call. I told her in an hour. She called me on my cell phone and my cell has been on the do not call list for a long time and is still valid. Maybe the do not call list doesn't apply to international companies. She was definitely foreign.

I just got a call from this number 213-995-5579 and they didn't leave a message but due to being at work I won't answer my phone. they then called back 12 min. later so I answered and it was a solicitor for some visa card that I am not interested in. My mail was stolen out of my box about 1 mo. ago and now these phone calls this is the third one so far so watch out for identity theft from this number.

I JUST RECEIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER THE GUY TRIED TO VERIFY MY HOME ADDRESS WITH THE PREMISE THAT I AM APPROVED FOR A PLATNUM CARD. I KNOW NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD APPROVE ME FOR A CREDIT CARD WITH MY CREDIT. SO I HUNG UP.

I just received a call from this number on my cell phone and I didn't answer. I immediately googled the number because I didn't recognize the area code either. I see that I will now have to place my cell number on the do not call list and see if that works.

I didn't answer the call, because I have already gotten 3 wrong numbers since I got the phone 2 days ago.  The name shows up as Space Net LLC.  Of course, they didn't leave a message.  If they call again, I will answer and tell them to take me off the list.  Hope it works!

Woke me up this AM by calling my cell and I left it go to message...none left. I'll be putting my cell on the no-call list and hope that works.

This company called me on my cell phone and as soon as they started their speil, I interrrupted them and said take my number off your list, I am on the do not call list.  They were persistant (from india) and kept on, and I got even more irate and told them 4 times, take my number off your list.  Pissed me off royally!  I've already registered my cell phone to the do not call list.

This person from india called me on my cell phone, which I have registered on the DO NOT CALL list.  I actually got pretty irate with the person, and they were very persistant.  I repeatedly told them take me off your list, and proceeded to hang up on them.

Something or other Platinum Card.  I called the number on my caller ID. I am also on the Do Not Call, so I reported them.
