they called my home phone about 10 times and my cell almost 20 times. this is ridiculous. There has to be a way to stop these fools.

Okay so I got a call from this number a couple of weeks ago and got the same thing, background noise and folks talking and laughing.  They continued to call, after  the third call I finally blocked the number using the Mr. Number App on my phone, now when they call they get an automatic hang up with no answer, the shoe is on the other foot now!

Over 20 calls from this number within an hour.

I got a call from a very nice girl who said she was calling on behalf of the Energy Conservation Program. Said she was in a call center. Showed on my caller ID as Cedar Hill, TX. She stated that the state was giving 5000 credit to  those who qualified for making their home more efficient. After asking me several questions about my electric bills, age of my A/C, she said we qualified and wanted to send an expert to my house to do an energy audit and both me and my husband had to be present.  It all sounded legit and appointment was made. Gave me 888-949-5195 to call if I had any questions. Checked the number on here and called the 800 number and told the lady who answered "Energy Conservation Program" to cancel our appointment. Thank you for this website that warned me of possible scams.

I am registered on the do not call list and continue to get calls from this number.  They call often and do not leave a message.  I currently have them blocked via Mr. Number app on my cell.  This activity is unacceptable.

10 calls from this number in less than an hour. When I finally decided to return the call, it was an automated msg saying the caller wasn't available

Called 9 times in less than two minutes. Really felt like answering and going off, but I know they will just hang up and continue calling to be annoying. Don't bother answering at all. These are hoax number generated to look local to you. They obviously are not a legitimate company as they would not call Do not call list people if they were. The do not call list is actually useless.  They will not pursue violators, it says so right on their web page. They expect legitimate companies to respect the list. These are most likely from overseas. Best to just let them get bored and they will go away...for awhile.

Received 9 calls in the past 2 hours, no messages left.

Over the last few days, I've had a few calls.  I answered once and there was nothing on the other end.  I just answered, and after 3-5 seconds, the other end connected to a lady asking for Mr. Sumthing-r-other, and when I told them they had the wrong number, she asked if I was a home owner in Waxahachie.  
I have a 214 area code number (from days long ago living in Dallas).  I wonder if that's the tie that binds us.

This person called about six times.  I happened to have my ringer off, but was getting ready to make a call when I saw their call come in.  Asked for Mr. Peterson, then when I said it was a wrong number, they asked if I'm a homeowner in the Irving area.

same here. started yesterday they're at it again now. I don't answer but annoying.

They're calling again tonight, repeatedly. Stopped for a bit & are at it again as I write this, multiple calls. Don't know number so I don't answer but annoying.

Phoned repeatedly for over 20 minutes. Did not answer.  They would hang up & call right back. Once there was about a 5 minute pause between calls, then they continued repeatedly for another 15-20 minutes before they finally stopped.

I don't know who these people are.  In the last hour they have called my cell phone 11 times!  On the 5th call I answered but I did not speak.  I listened to 2 minutes of call center noise while the caller (female) had a conversation with a male co worker and then realizing the phone is not ringing anymore, in monotone asked for Mr & Mrs (my name). When I did not respond she hung up.  This is a waste of these people's time to get paid to dial numbers where nobody answers!

Received 3 calls in one day from this company. I stated that I no longer lived in Texas and asked that my number be removed from their list. Emily was the person I spoke with. I threatened to turn her in to the attorney generals office and she was sarcastic. Something needs to be done!

5 calls in 10 minutes...we use Google Voice, so I just blocked the number from there

Just received a call.  The lady launched into a spiel about how my home qualified for up to a $5000 credit for an energy efficiency upgrade and she just needed to ask me a few questions.  I told her to please take me off their list and she said she would but it might take 30 days.  

Same thing. Called again, one after another.  I did not answer. It stopped calling after three times. Somebody may need some psychological help?

They called my phone three times however after the first time I blocked them using the app "Mr. Number",  this doesn't allow the call to go through it hangs up on them instantly and they can't leave a messag either.  This is great for them since they hang up people they shouldn't be calling without  authorization.  The people making these calls sound young and immature and the business doesn't sound ligit either with mindless chatter and music in the background.   They need to get a clue a and realize a mind is terrible thing to waste!    Again get the "Mr Number" app it works beautifully!

I am getting a call from this number at least once a day! They have even called several times in a row. When I answer, all I hear is call center noise and music. The number of complaints about this number is crazy! Something to be done about this!
