Very aggressive debt collector who purchases accounts that are past the statute of limitations. They will not provide documentation to support their claims and threaten legal action and other scare tactics even with no legal ground to stand on.

Don't know who they are. Could be a collection agency(however not sure).

How did you find out it was a prank? Did you call them back. Just had a msg left today from that number about affidavits/complaints.
