I keep getting a call from these guys also.  Always saying 'donation' to Sheriff charity.  Not sure if they are real or not.

The sad part is that the solicitation usually comes from a 3rd party and little of the money get to it's destination.

Dallas County Sheriff's Association soliciting donations to help fingerprint children or something.  I told the man no and he was very polite about it.
