If you read through all the comments, you would see that several people HAVE sent back - and promptly been asked to pay almost $140 for a book.  If they finish that book, then they owe another $100 for the next one....and the next one.... yep - it's a scam!  so if you haven't seen "any one who put it to the test." - you're not looking very hard!

I have read about the invitation that some have received in the mail . And so many crying foul but my question is this , has any one tried to follow it through far enough to even get so much as a glimpse of whether it works or not? In other words, so many complain of the price that is asked for but so far no one up to this point I haven't seen any one who put it to the test.

I recieved this letter too, I just sent back 5 grams of heroin in it wrapped only in tissue paper, hopefully the dogs get to it and track down who receives this b***s***!  I'll be keeping an eye on the Dallas news!

Received the letter also, it is signed "Sincerely, Bill", obviously and presumably to be the one and only Bill Clinton. I wonder if he knows this?

Here is the story behind the secret society, in my letter called The League. Technically it is not a scam but like beauty it is in the eye of the beholder as to whether it qualifies as a scam.

Mail fraud. Received the 8 or 9 page letter in last night's mail from 'The Society' claiming affiliation with movie stars and the wealthy and renowned. Given until 5/23/14 to mail or fax back to 214 367 3877.
What a pitch.
There were several misspellings, and they mention the Skull and Bones organization, except they say Yale when it's a Harvard secret society.
The letter was written by 'Bill'- Bill Gates? Beelzebub(another name for the devil!)?
I know Bill Gates doesn't have a PO Box in Texas.  

Yes,I received an invitation letter from a secret society.They are located in Dallas,Texas 75356-0627.P.O.Box 560627.
They mention it is free so where is $139.95 is coming from.If something is free then you are ask to pay something is not right.
It is so sad, to see how people will take all this time to scam people, when they can use the same time to do something constructive.We came from GOD so we are already special, we do not need any secret society to feel good.
Please,stop this foolishness and lead an honest life.

I agree Dave.  I, also got this 10 pg letter and the deadline was to send it back by midnight tomorrow (5/16/14).  I am so grateful to all of the helpful, informative posters that SAVED ME from making A BIG MISTAKE!

The code of arms on the page you send in looks like a fake version of one for my last name but I know the REAL CODE OF ARMS for my family and the one they used is a similar one that has been used in scams for decades.
Even if it was a legitimate organization, I have enough meetings and other activities to attend without joining a group of rich and famous people. You can associate with just the famous people you admire on Facebook and Twitter without joining some fake secret society. Thanks to Google for the ability to look up the FAX number.

Val,  I too am a believer in Jesus Christ, in whom my salvation comes from.  Reading the "Whole" letter, I too started feeling of all I could do being out of debt and so wealthy!  But knowing as I read, that our God does not work like this!  And yes too, the being able to manipulate and control people and situations, and kept talking sex...yeah that sounded like a pimper..I then just finished it to the end to see what it would show, and then went and googled to see what I could find this was even tho I was discerning already.  But the one gentleman hit it on the head about the witches and black magic...a lot of that going on now a days, I felt I needed to rebuke the letter for if they cast some kind of hoax on it onto the one who opened it, I needed protection from Jesus to denounce that.  Lord go before all who have touched their letters, if this is their way to own the world.  So, knew it was not what I wanted to persue.  God bless you!

Hi, I too had that Western Union "SCAM" happen to me, counterfeit post office money orders for $ 940 each about 4 of them, that told me what to do, deposit them into my bank account, sent so much to the Western Union...etc..Yes!  Same scam, my bank lady thank the Lord, caught it and asked me what they were for and who sent them...or maybe they were the ones that started texting me, yes, and instructed me to let them know when I made my deposit and how it went...long story short, took to police station, and they said they got the same thing there too...REALLY!!  So we really have to watch out these people are super smart so they think, and if I would have had money like that in my bank account, I would have lost MY money, theirs was fake, I would have withdrew mine and been left with overdrafts...I like you, wish very, very much too, they would just LEAVE me alone.

Melvin,  Where did you learn of all this information ?  I would totally believe all you said, I actually know a true discerner of witches and black magic, and he said it is appearing around his area real heavy right now.  I am a Christian, and know better of where wealth comes from, you do not get something great like that for nothing!  Anyway, thank you for this information, I am actually sorry I read the whole letter now, just interested me for some reason, but through reading it all, I was knowing deep within it was some scam, or even worse if it pulls us to those who sent it somehow, even without responding.  They have a power that probably can know every part of us.  God rebuke it in the name of Jesus, they have no hold on me for reading or even touching the letter.  Amen.

I don't know if you are still able to get this or not, but it is May 12, 2 014.  I got this The League Membership invitation certificate same fax # (214) 367-3877, 10 page long, they knew a lot about me, they know more than I do about me...yadda!  Did you after faxing this back signed?  Did you receive the 56th page of secrets?  What did you find, and just a dumb question, because I believe it is a scam too, are  you now fathomly "Rich"...?  Well, I won't follow through, for who know's what they really will receive, is it my signature they can have they now can counterfit?  I don't want to take that chance, yeah they already have all my information, but right now not my signature!!

No one has ever seen a reply to these. These are very real people not even close to scammers. Once you recieve a letter or phone call there is no going back. Sometimes you are assigned a task, or appointed to pay them, or appointed to just join. They give you a month to comply. The second they call you they log your info. If they mail you then they already have your info. I suggest you all respond. Goodluck

My family has been going through a hard time. It was in the legal news so they sent this letter thinking we were so broken we would fall for this....NOT!

Got same letter as those who write and complain here.  Glad I am NOT alone, but, sad this continues and no one is stopping.  Maybe "60 MInutes" or other such investigating team need to expose and, at least try to shut down.  If from Nigeria, will be hard, but harder things have been tried..and succeeded..after time and persistence.

I do not understand if its a free secret to success  then why didn't they send the free secret with the letter in the first place, so  if the receiver of the letter is willing to join organization,then don't charge any money until he or she become successful like them, at least you will  see if it works ,something like a free trail ,also if the members of the  society club is rich they can afford to do that. other wise they will be getting rich from poor people like me if i go through with it. i just

I received a letter yesterday(3/24/14) telling me the same thing. That i have until 3/28/14 to respond after that I won't get another chance.

Received the same letter today, funny thing is that they say they know so much about me....well then they should have known that I had a name change six years ago!!!

I got the same letter I had a weird idea it wasn't true I will not respond to none of it

Please people don't fall for this crap this group I know it well I had the chance to meet one person that was involved in them this group is involved with a group from Africa that practice Witchcraft and black magic the person told me that they have doing this for over 36 years and yes I was once a member who got the book the book has a lot of satanic passages and scriptures and once you give them what they want you belong to them because you be getting letters from other so call God's and yes there point is to destroy the name of God and his image and steal all the money they can get to send to Nigeria Africa that were they have the main group at right now so please don't waist your time on reading the letter just give it to the post office and they know what to do with it.
