Told me the company had me on video buying a car. I never purchased a car with this company. When I said "council" he said they could could call him but that our call was done. He did have my SSN. That scares me. About to call my local PD now.

This poor black man with empty threats got a way with intimidating people on the phone. That kind of stuff doesn't work on me though. I hope he really sends his people so I can exercise my in-home defense and send him back a couple of bodies. LEE THORNHILL BRING IT TO MY DOOR AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS BOY. My husband just got the same call from this Mr. Lee. He tried to get my husband to confirm the last four digits of his SSN to make sure he had the right person. All my husband got out of him was something about bank loan. My husband said he would get our attorney to handle it and give him a call. Mr. Lee didn't like that and  The conversation didn't end well and this Mr. Lee even had the nerve to call back being rude. Don't fall for this scam!!!

Mr. Lee has been harassing my elderly mother.  He would provide no information and only vague threats while requesting Banking and SSN information.  I stated he was a scam & fraud...he hung up on me.  Then he had the temerity to call back 2x and try a threatening legal posture that "They" would get me.  He would not identify what his business was nor identify what company he represented..I again stated he was a scam and a fraud....suprisingly, he hung up again.

Beware this scammer!!  Shame on Mr. Lee for his amoral predatory behavior towards the elderly and others!  Get a real job!

Total SCAM !!! We reported him to our local police. I encourage others to do the same. The officer told us some times these people are pulling these types of scams while sitting in Jail. Do to the fact he first appeared to have some personal info on us we thought this was the best move. But if Mr Lee would like to drop by our home. He may want to read the sign before he comes to the door "Dont mind the dogs Beware of Owner" click click you aint in Kansas anymore...

I don't know about this number and I don't have any debt.  From what I see in the comments, I would strongly suggest you never give anyone any information unless you know them and never give out account numbers, banking information or SSN.  This does sound like scamming.  No reputable company would be rude and threatening..

So I have been getting call after call at work from "mr.lee". Harassing me about a debt I have paid off and have a paid in full letter for. I was asked to fax it the letter and so I did. Later on I get a call to my cell that he didn't receive it an that if I didn't send it by 3 he would take "legal matters". I told him off and he hung up. A month ago I received a call from "Lisa Perez" regarding the same thing. Very rude as well. This mr lee guy told me he was connected with this other lady calling. I had also faxed the paid in full letter to the lady and she requested bank statements because my letter wast enough. I told her I am not giving you bank statements. She was very rude. Screw these people and company.

LOL! This guy called me with his very Texan accent (214 is Dallas) saying he had a very important matter concerning my name, social and it was in writing! (Knees shaking now - whatever) I look up his phone number and this is the thread I get. Yup, debt collector of some sort. Ignore them.

Update - I called the number it was for someone else and the secretary was very polite and said she would remove my number from their records.  I never spoke to this Lee Thornhill.

I got a message on my home phone this morning at 7:17 am...fortunately my phone company has records of time calls come in.  They never said who they were calling for and I am not sure what this is about.  Do not know how to handle.  

This company comes up as commercial recovery basically a debt collector he tried to come off a little agressive but i told him  fuzz u do what you have to do before he had a chance to say anything else i hung up on him .

called and said I owed money to a bank i never did business with. A complete scam. Do not give them any info

Told me the same thing

A guy named Lee Thornhill called me and said that he was with the federal government and that this was a federal government line. He said that i owed my school 5,376 dollars (which I do) and that they would settle for 3,738 dollars. He yelled at me and was very disrespectful. I do not like getting in trouble so yes i gave him my bank information. He said i was frauding the government bc I was taking out student loans he is supposed to take the money out of my account wednesday i really need to know if this is a scam!

I received a debt collection call from this number. I did not answer; a voice mail was left. The man was very civil and up front about calling to collect a debt. He requested me to return his call.

I just got a call from this number, some man telling me something about they have my license plate and my address and they are going to get me, never told me for what. Got to love telephone harassment by companies that don't even tell you who they are.

This man called and said he would get with my local law enforcment but never said what i did so the hell with him same phone #214-380-2008 but he called from this #713-357-5251 both # from texes

I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD NOT BE CONTACTED AFTER JANUARY THE 29TH CUZ IT WOULD BE TO LATE TO PAY WHAT I OWED BUT AGAIN I WAS CALLED TWICE TODAY FROM TWO DIFFERNT NUMBERS.THA 214-380-2008 NUMBER TOLD ME THAT I COMMETED FRAUD BACK IN 2008 I DO NOT BELIEVE I DID OR I WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY ANYWAY I OFFERED TO PAY THE 3551.21 TO HIM AND ASKED HIM TO GIVE ME AN ACCOUNT NUMBER I COULD PUT THE MONEY AND HE GOT MAD AND RAISED HIS VOICE AT ME AND TOLD ME THAT I WOULD HAVE TO GIVE HIM MY ACCOUNT AND THAT IS WHEN I TOLD HIM TO DO WHAT HE HAD TO DO BUT I WAS NOT GOING TO GIVE HIM MY ACCOUNT NUMBER.I HAVE BEEN HORRASED AT WORK AND I THINK THIS IS WRONG.
