This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

got 5 call from this number threatening my family. I just gave them the FBI local number!

says his name is Andrew Brown from dispute resolution center.  called 2 x on Friday and 3 times this am. i told him the police were monitoring the line and hung up.  he called back and left a message like he hadn't just been on the phone with me and read his script about me being a suspect in a financial fraud case.  threatened me with going to jail and if i have children i should find someone to watch them!!

This guy with an accent name Andrew Brown keeps calling me saying that someone maybe scamming me and because of it I owe money but if  I keep running away from him I will have to accept the responsibility for it.

Got a call from a certain Andrew with a heavy accent, told me that my SS number is for investigation.
Scammmer. I called him back to curse him. Then next time i called he wont answer.

I recieved the same calls been same guy but using this number and california numbers. He can not speak good english or same my name righ. He never said anything the first 3 times he called! Seriously

Oh brother!  Here's an Indian guy saying a complaint was filed against me ... blah blah blah.  Has an American name, but clearly overseas.  Don't pay any mind to these idiots.  They are scammers, not for real.  Just don't answer the phone!  When they can't get money from you, they will move on.
