yes i recieved a call on friday from travis hall stating i would be arrested for a payday loan i know nothing about americash i never heard of them,i too scared to death because i had just applied for a payday loan,this call came from missouri 417-218-0805,these people need to be stopped.

Yes Joe. They were reading off a piece of paper as they spoke. It's a middle eastern indian scam from phone jacks (can't be traced) and it's reeking havoc on the U.S. Just ignore them... they're bonafide scammers and @$$ h0les... I get them too LOL!  Here... let me see if i can mimic...

They got busted. They haven't been calling anymore. They were a team of 'small-timers' out of Dallas. They made the mistake of calling an FBI agent! Now they are known as 'The Dallas D1ckHead$. (-:

people are full crap.. according to them i should have been in jail for 5 days now. when they call you tell them you are recording the call and are going to file a police report if they call you again, and you won't have any more calls from them. DON'T SEND THEM ANY MONEY. thank you all for your postings, they have saved people such as myself from being taken advantage of.

I received a call through my mom's work. Same thing as those above, so obviously it is a scam. No legitimate company or bill collector is going to call and say the things that come out of this person's mouth. He left a message but I couldn't understand half of what he said because of the accent. I actually thought it was a Chinese accent, not Indian, but there could be more than one person.

I just got this same call. They called me before. He said his name was Brian. The first time he called he called from a 414 area code, this time he called from this number.

Here is the best revenge.  Been harassed by them too often, so took all office staff and had them keep redialing the 214-491-5697 all afternoon!  No scamming for them today

im 20 years old and i got really scared because i did apply for a payday loan but just didnt continue with anything and i even forgot i had applied, until some indian guy harrased me saying i was going to get arrested, then transfered me to some indian lady and she said they were coming to arrest me right now, good thing i googled the number or i would be running scared. thank you so very much to all of you for putting your stories it really calmed me.

thank you so much for the complaints against those calls from 214-491-5697. I was shaken a bit with the harrassing calls about a payday loan that I never accepted or received the money or for that matter know anything about.

i recieved a call from this numberand he said i did a payday loan and he knew my banking info and he was comring to my job and arrested me in the morning and i was goin to lost my job it is a scam i dont do pay day online loans

Threatened me with physical and arrest threats.  Behind  on payment  told they can access direct withdrawl in the next 24 hours  wish me luck  and said all they could say.

I got a call yesterday from a Jonathan Miller.  He had a thick accent and said I or my attorney should get in contact with him.  He had called me last week at 7:40 am saying something similar.  I told him I did not have an attorney.  He said I should get one.  I told him that I don't owe anyone any money so I don't need one but if he calls me before 8:00 am, he will need one.  I am turning him in to the Attorney General's Office.

SCAM ALERT-These people are scammers and I am famiiar with the script as they tried about two months ago to get me to contact them.  Dont awnser.

This same person has called before and at one time dialed 7 times using a different number in one day.  They used a different number before but the guys voice is the same and he used a different name this time.  I already filed complaints with the FTC and the Attorney General in the state where the suppossed call is coming from before.  The guys accent is indian I believe.  He is reading off a script.  Here is what he left on my voicemail tonight as I didnt awnser.

" I need you or your attorney on record to return the call and his name is John Wilson. Says the number is the hotline to his division.  Dont disregard this message and if I dont return the call or my attorney doesnt, the only thing he can do is wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on you".  

These people are total scammers.  I dont owe them any money to them and have no idea who they are.  The Attorney Generals office told me to not awnser the calls and disregard what this person said.  A normal collection agency would provide a letter and not leave threatening messages.  

Report these callers and dont awnser your phone.

Got a call from this number telling me that my attorney and I had until Friday to pay something I owed.  I had applied for a payday loan in the last week or so and decided to look up the number.  I had gotten a similar call a few days ago and it scared me to death.  I looked them up on the internet and found that it was a scam.  When this Indian talking man called today, I hung up on him and he called me back.  I did not answer but he left the message saying I was rude and that it was in my best interest to have my attorney call.  I looked up the number and found that it is a scam.

I received a call from this number today. I received almost the same call from another number last week. Same situation. They all have Indian accents, but have American names. I have brought my local police dept in on this as well as Orange Cty, CA as that is where the other number came from. I sure hope they are caught and sent to jail or back to their own country!!

It's a scam and you all need to call your home and cell providers to have a block put on your number. I had my local police department call them from my home phone and this idiot just called back and I called police officer again and she advised that I had to call Verizon to have the number blocked which I just did. If they try to call again they won't be able to get through. This "man" who called was very foul and told me he was going to come to my house and *uck me and I told him that he was told by the officer who came to my home cease calling here and he told me that she was a fake!! She most definitely is NOT a fake. Also if you have recently applied for a payday loan online and then decided not to take one that is how they could have gotten your numbers. Beware of doing anything online like I did because this is what happens with these scammers.

I recieved a call and the man, who sounded like a foreigner, asked for my attorney's info because a suit has been filed against my name. I went on and told the man I had the police departments number. After I said that he said I would be arrested Monday. This is ridiculous.

I am getting phone calls from this nuber claiming I need to send them $9000 or I will go to jail

Called and claimed I had taken a loan out and had not payed it back and was going to jail. They have called my work number and cell phone number. They will not give me a case number or an account number or give me a name of the person calling or allow me to speak to a suervisor.  I have not taken out an loan from any company

Told him he'd see how educated I was when my local police department called him back on my behalf which is exactly what the officer who responded to my home did. She told him that they know they are scam artists and since he and his partners in California as well as Texas wanted to keep calling and threatening me that they would be investigating and forwarding to proper authorties and having their little business shut down. I like you Julie had looked into a payday loan and then decided not to do it and then these calls started.

I just got the same call on my cell phone.  I get these calls all the time.  The only thing I tell them is that i am unemployed so they will not call my place of employment.  And I have told me place of employment about these calls so if one of them calls my boss also says that I dont work there.  The person that just called me said his name was Austin Black and that I had a loan with US Cash, never heard of that place.  And that they couldn't tell me what the original loan amount was but that I had to pay them 8000 or go to jail tonight.  This is ridiculous.

Listen guys Travis Hall called me today November 20,2012. He told me that I was going to be arrested for something that I owed for a payday loan that I was looking into but never did it well this a** told me because i went into the website to search I owed them 356.16 for just browsing the website. I am so glad that I google the number my friend told me to do it. Listen I'm here to pass the word the name is Travis Hall and it's a SCAM now that I know because of you guys, god bless each and every one of you's. You saved me from getting cheated by a scammer.
