This company seems to keep changing their number. I have furnished the FCC with a list of phone numbers from scam companies. These calls have to stop. Our company (Law Firm) is not interested in free grant money, because its illegal.

These folks call and my name appears on the caller ID. Is that legal?

I just got 3 calls from this number trying to offer me some kind of business grant(all within 2 minutes of each other). The second call came in as soon as I answered the first call. The third call came in almost immediately after I hung up the other two calls. First it was the car warranty and satellite TV service calls. Now this. Ugh. When will it end?

Calls numerous times a day to our business, typical long pause when answering then either a hangup or the usual robo-noises in the background (lots of people talking, etc.)

answered the phone and after saying hello three times, it hung up. Automated grant money. Called teh number and the automated service said for us to leave our name number and how much we wanted in grant money and they would call us back. Left a message for them telling them this was bulls*** and a scam. Laughingly said the should get a better life and stop calling. I felt better for it. Am still laughing.

What I dont get is this number is listed on http://investing.businessweek.com/research/st ... vcapId=27412750 as the company's number with a similar or same recording. Also the company's site http://www.pulsarcomm.com/ has a 1800-388-1016 listed and has the same recording. I wonder if their number got high-jacked or if this telecom company has changed direction and decided be a spam-scam company.

My first piece of advice is to register all your phone numbers with the Do Not Call list. https://www.donotcall.gov/register/reg.aspx. Then after your listed on the list, or if your already on the list, file a complaint, every time they call. And do this for every call that is strange. https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx.
In the last 3 days this number has called me about 12 times so far. It shows as "Unknown Name". They are calling a cell phone, which is illegal just by it being a cell phone, and second because my number is listed on the do not call list.
The nly way companies will get the message to stop calling people, like you readers, is for people to continually complain about them and get the government to investigate their behaviours. But it does require an active role for people to take. So register your numbers and then compalin about the callers who call you that are not suppose to be calling you.

This is on a long list of robocalls that give no way to opt-out, googling seems to show it belongs to Pulsar Communications prepaid phone, a service which we don't use and have never had an interest in. This number will be on my new air horn list.
