TobyAnn 2014-02-27 18:58:48 Unknown
They called my cell, left a message regarding lowering my loan payment. I do not have any outstanding loans.

Some one keeps calling me! They say a credit card! And, at that....it's a some sort of farner! I have no Credit Oweing!

I have received about 10 phone call from this area in the last 2 hours. I am on a do not call and this is just making me furious. They do not leave a message.
MTex 2013-08-02 19:44:31 Unknown
I answered the phone, computer generated message. "we are calling you in regards to an important business matter, Press 1 if you are " Blankety, Blank, Blank". As I am not "blankety blank blank". I wait to see if there is another option, because if I press one, then technically under their company laws I am admitting I am this person. So I wait to see if there is another option, like "if you are not blankety blank blank press 2". But there was nothing and the call disconnected. How exactly am I supposed to tell them that i am not this person and get them to quit calling me if they have no other options? I mean what good does it do to call a person over and over that has nothing to do with this? They don't make any money off of it, it's just weird. Also this number is not registered to anyone, as it is a BS Computer trick they use to call from a local number. The actual number they are calling from is completely different. So again how do you tell these crazy people to leave you alone if there is no contact number, no business name and no way to get through to them with out admitting to them that you are the person they are calling?

I picked up this call from this number and it was a rep from ARS National, a debt collector.
Vince 2011-09-01 19:13:58 Debt Collector
It was a message threaten about a debt they didn't say from whom, but it was clearly harrassing and against the Fair debt act.

Caller ID said VPI. Asked for a former employee who left years ago. They do get points for politeness. Had distinct telemarketer sound. It appears this is an all-purpose caller-ID number for telemarketers and magazine subscription people.

Person said it was HP calling, offering my office the opportunity to attend a 2-day conference in DC. He immediately started telling me about the topics that would be discussed "bullet-proofing" servers and how to deal with "overloaded, aging, server architecture"??
Anyway, he went on for about a minute and a half (which is a long time when the conversation is chocked full of techie buzzwords) then finally asked if this was something we would be interested in.
I politely told him it was more than we normally handle and he immediately said "yeah - of course" (as if to say I've wasted my time on yet another imbecile) then followed-up by saying, "well, best of luck to you." At this point, he promptly hung-up.
Gee, I guess I can get back to bullet-proofing my overloaded aging server's architecture now!

Got a Call Today, Did a Background, it?s a Sub. of a Telemarketing Co. in Dallas,Tx. they Subcontract work for HP ,Dell ,LG ,Samsung ,Toshiba ,Sony ,If you bought something New in the last 1 to 3 months they get your number through third party registration and illegal (they won't admit) Data Mining ,Where Companies Backup Data say Registrations of Products for Warranty purposes ,then someone at the Data Center (during lunch break or whenever) taps into Storage Drives and downloads a 10,000 name + address list to a Flash Drive and sells it at a quarter a name, they are all good names because people don't lie when they're registering their $3000.00 Plasma or LED TV! So the Lunch Time Bandit Makes an Easy $2,500.00 for 5 minutes work, it?s more then they make in a month take home. This is how it works and it is done 100 times an hour all over the world. So Block the Call Don't put your Phone Number on anything, Put Mail Only, then it's a Federal Offence, stealing Phone Numbers is like Shoplifting, Stealing Mail is like robbing a Bank! And DON'T Call Back or ANSWER The Phone! As every Price in America Doubles and Triples every three years and Wages are frozen to everyone except the Top 2% People will do things they never dreamed they would do 10 years ago. The $12.00 to $25.00 Blue Collar Worker is a thing of the Past, It doesn't matter if you have a 4 year Degree that cost $175,000.00 because so did 10,000 other 22 year olds and there are only 1,000 jobs to fill. TEA PARTY 1776!!

It's an HP person. Usually looking for people to attend sales luncheons.
Craig 2010-10-06 20:22:42 Unknown
This number has been calling me also for months, sometimes two times a day or more. No one is ever on the other end and if I I hold long enough, the caller hangs up.
Sarah 2010-10-05 18:58:53 Unknown
Just got a call today. Didn't answer and they left no vm. I called it back and got "This is Adam" but hung up. How did they get my number?!
FYI - if you have Verizon they will block a certain amount of numbers for you for free so you don't have deal with the annoying callers that won't give up!!
Kenny 2010-09-01 20:31:52 Unknown
