I also just received text messages from this scammer and was wary enough of the area code being in Texas and also have learned not to deal with PayPal as sellers can easily get scammed on there as well so just texted him back saying I googled the number and will not be a sale. If a person can't meet me for something posted local then I am always wary. Especially when they say the only money they can get to me is through PayPal. I recently lost my mother and am selling her medical mobility equipment for my now widowed father to help pay for funeral expenses. How low are these people?

I was selling an expensive road bike on kijiji. This guy sent me a text, wanting to know if my bike was still for sale. I checked his number and found this. I sent a text back, asking if it was Richard from Texas, no reply. After several more texts, no reply. I sent a nasty text with the end result, him being turned into pig manure, no reply!

He tried to get a dog I was selling.....god only knows what would have happened to the dog if I fell for it!!  Thank god I didnt!!!!!!!!!!

Ive dealt with this guy a few times. I am contacting my local police and going to see what can be done. I suggest we all do the same, that is the only way to stop this idiot.

been getting text messages from this person wanting to buy an article I listed for sale. He wants to send me money and then for me to send money to the shipper who will pick up the articles for sale. Is this another scam? e listed his name in an email as Richard tom.
