Received a call from John representing COMPNOVA, a recruiting Company for IT positions out of Richardson TX. He had a hard to understand Indian accent and tried to offer me a temp (1yr) job as a Project Manager for Verizon Wireless. I became suspicious when he asked for my SS# over the phone. I could also hear children playing in the background which also sent up my red flags that this was not legit. I politely told him that I wold not give my personal info over the phone and that he must send an e-mail. This allows you to research the company and see if their legit. Based on my research. Their NOT.
