calls and no message left!

Just for the record, got this call today for the first time. No message, of course. (Surprise, surprise!) Thanks to all the posts above, If I get one more, it will go into my call-blocking list. Thanks, everyone.

I do not answer these types of calls!!  Do not call me again I report all unwanted calls to my states GA office.

This call was from  Pain Relief.

Same, they called and never said anything! I so tired of all of these scammers!

Thank you! This is very helpful. I get many of these calls. I tell them I'm not interested, but they keep talking like they are reading a script and get paid by the word.

I received a call a week, always call back to have them put me on DO NOT CALL. To no avail! But many may not realize that non profits CAN make telemarketing calls, even to those on do not call list. They are not subject to the list!

Sick and tired of my business cell phone ringing off the hook with unsolicited telemarketers!!!!! Somebody do something to stop these people! The only people buying there crap is the extremely old, weak, and/or stupid people! They prey on these people and it should be against the law!!!!

OMG - I did press the 1 when I called back to be removed from their list.  How evil they are!  I did just report them to the FCC.  I understand that these scammers stay one step ahead of the authorities.  :-)

I'm also very annoyed, tired, disgusted and so on with this stupid calls.  Looks like to me that they would be better off to go out on the streets and beg or better yet, get a job with some respect.

I play music as my greeting .. unwanted calls have almost stopped .. I still get one or two, but for the most part they have stopped ..

Sorry to burst your bubbles  but this joker thats making these calls is based in Oregon...Thats right! Oregon.
he has been doing this for over  6 years now  He spoofs numbers Period! at the begining he used his own phone number till i text he A..z Repeated  for  1 week then he started changeing the Spoofs He basically is a Hit artist  playing the Field from credit card scams to debt reduction  and pain relief as well as  17 other Scams..  Apperantly  No one  on athourity Really cares to Persue him in his ventures.
he started out and still Runs the Home security Scams too  trying to sell or give away a home security system which you will Never! see after he has all your info,. he just uses that tactic to gain your name and address ect then after he has all that he opens accounts in your name and creates false indentitys as well as applys for credit cards in your name. he is The! scum of the earth  when it comes to scams and i promised when i ever found him Home he would Remember Me after.
so far to date he has run under 48 Different Spoof numbers and the dudes Really got a attitude and  BTW dont call him back cause if you Do? he will mark you as a Hit and a mark! and keep calling you day and nite till you  give in to one of his scams and it dont stop there.

I use a whistle...I'm sure they hate that. lol Unfortunately, when it is one of these automated messages it doesn't do any good, but I am on the DNC list. Strange that the day after I signed up on that list my telemarketer calls tripled from 2-3 daily to 6-9 DAILY. I really believe someone at the DNC is selling the info. I have had people tell me the same thing happened to them after signing up. I fill-out the complaint form after receiving 4 calls from the same scammer/b****ead/telemarketer. Nothing has ever been done. Nothing more than a notification that my complaint was received. >:(

I got a call today from 2153941816  with pain relief. I just ignore the call and did not pick it up.  I just got this new number from my local provider.

They need not call me anymore!! Im not old enough for medicare yet!!

This number called my cell phone which is listed with the do not call police.

It was from PA, so I picked up (my sister lives in PA), but
it was a telemarketer -- "Follow up on your Medicare" - it
was a robo call, just a recording.  Really ticks me off.   :-(
It was for pain relief.  Bite me.

Got two calls today (Friday 2012-08-03).  Both numbers are new to the list of constant calls I've been getting lately, but I have seen the caller ID name (FINANCIAL CTR) on two other numbers before, 503-457-1792 and 206-496-0931:

215-394-1816 @ 10:28am - PENNSYLVANIA

I suspect these are part of the same scam organization that has been calling me constantly from a variety of numbers for over four months now, more detail and numbers in my posts here:

This number calls repeatedly.  It never rings more than 4 times and never leaves a message.  It's most annoying as it rings just long enough for me to get to the phone but no one is there if I do answer.

If you do call these numbers back and they say to press something to be removed from their call list or give you another number to call to be removed, DO NOT DO IT!  It confirms that they have a valid number and the calls will never stop.

Got a call from 215-394-1816 I also got a call from 202-803-4915 a couple days ago.  I do not answer calls that I don't recognize the number.  They can leave all the messages they want.  These are scammers, they can get your information from any and every where on the internet.  It doesn't matter that you are on the do not call list.  If you do file a complaint, by the time law enforcement gets around to them, they have moved on and changed addresses and phone numbers.  You can bet the names given to get these numbers are fake.  NOTE: if you do call these numbers back and it says to press whatever to be removed from their phone list, DO NOT DO IT!  By doing this you've just confirmed for them and the many other scammers out there that they have a valid number and the calls will never stop.

I've had 3 of these annoying telemarketing calls this morning.  One said private with no phone number.  The other two had numbers with area codes.  So I called them back and there was a recording to be taken off their call list.  So, we'll see what happens.

Answered phone and caller hangs up.

Thankyou Louise, I will certainly take youral advice. I am already on the No-Call List. But unfortunatley
my Phone Company has told me that there is no protection aganinst these Scamers.

I keep getting calls from this number and have registered with the do not call registry.  They do not leave a message or if I answer they do not say anything.
