Every night they call ..so annoying. I do not answer, nor do they ever leave a message. Tonite they called 3x  7:45, 7:46 and 7:47 pm..My husband recently had a heart attack and I certainly do not need these calls almost every night of the week. Do Not call list is a joke..I've reported this number so many times and nothing gets done....caller Id says help desk..I could use some help, but not from them!!

These call centers call every day..I never answer. If it's important they'd leave a message. Caller id says Help Dept..How about helping me to stop your annoying DAILY calls!!!

I wish they would knock on my door as LOLA stated above.  I would punch  their teeth out.

On Don Not Call List and get calls daily around 4 - 5pm ET.  I got through to rep "Mark" and asked him name of his company.  I was told that they are not allowed to give out company name.  I told him I was on DNC list  and do not want calls like this.  Mark's response was "DNC list is for solicitation calls - this call is an offer to lower your electric bill.

If Mar (above comments) would like to share the phone number of the PUC and any progress you made, it would be appreciated.

When you press the number 1 it doesn't, put you on a do not call list at all. What that does is acknowledge that the number they dialed is a working number to be called again. Do not press 1 just hang up.

Not only do I constantly get phone calls from these jerks, they also send out people on the ground. At least once a week I am slamming my door in the face of one of their ghetto, uneducated "employees". I can't get away from this harassment!

I am getting very tired of this number calling me several times a day! I would like to report it as harassment!

I just got another call from Live voice, Noell #1534 and she is one ignorant rat.  I have asked them numerous times to please take me off their list.  I just filed a complaint, but it will do no good.  The only way to stop them is for these companies to stop making money, and that can only happen if nobody falls for their scam.

Call 2-3 times a day, they do not leave message.  Caller ID says "Help Dept". I had received calls from this same "company" about three weeks ago and asked them not to call again.  It was from an electric co., trying to get us to switch from PPL

I work for PPL and it is absolutely not PPL calling you.. It is a telemarketer for an alternate generation supplier.  I get these harassing calls at home all the time.  Most recent was "Help Desk".. Rep wanted my account #.  I asked specifically what company she was selling for at which point she said she couldn't offer me any discounts without knowing my acct # to see what "programs" I was "eligible" for.  I explained to her that while she was only doing her job, she was incorrect in stating "programs and eligibility". I asked her point blank again what supply company she was selling for and what was their price to compare. She refused to answer my question and when i repeatedly asked to speak to a supervisor, she hung up on me.  These are not "scams" but sales gimmicks to sell you generation.  There are currently 45 liscensed suppliers out there.  They bold face lie to the general public and use scare tactics that "PPL's rates are going up" when in fact the rates have decreased every quarter since the original rate caps expired in 2009. They prey on the elderly especially and do nothing but rip people off by offering low intro rates then jacking the customer's price up as much as 10 cents more per kwh than if the customer stayed with PPL...

PPL has been calling my cell phone for at least 6 months saying I qualify for a discount on my electric bill. I do not have PPL. Everytime I press 5 to be connected to a representative, I tell them I am not a customer and asked to be removed from the list. Yet I continue to get calls... very annoying.

I get these calls few times a week. Caller ID just shows number...no company name. I never answer and they never leave a message..Just annoying.

Recorded message said to press 5 to speak to a live rep.  I did and got Barbara operator #1606, and she said she worked at a call center for a company called LIVE VOICE.  She wanted my electric account number so she could save me money.  I told her her call was illegal because I was on the Do Not Call list and she said it was not illegal for her to call me because it was a call from the government!  I informed her that she was NOT from the "government".  When I informed her that I would be filing a complaint she hung up on me.  I receive these calls every day ("Help Desk" on caller ID) but they are always different phone numbers.

I keep receiving calls from this company asking for my electricity bill account number.  The operator (in this case identified as Tammy #1525, again from LIVE VOICE) does NOT know the name of my electric company, yet insists they are required by the government to call and offer to find a lower electric rate for me.  I told her I was on the DO NOT CALL LIST and she said that they could call me because they were providing a SERVICE and not SELLING something.  I told her I wanted my number removed from their list, and that I was filing a complaint and she hung up on me.

this time it was Nicole #1295 and she also said she was from LIVE VOICE.  When I started to ask her to please remove me from their call list, I got as far as "this is the third..." and she screamed "I"m only doing my job" and hung up on me.

I then called PP&L and I was told they have NO CONNECTION to this company, and not to give them my account number unless I want to switch my electric supplier.  They gave me the phone number of the PUC to file a complaint.

Get this call from this number every 2-3 days, I never answer since all that shows is the number, which I do not recognize.

215-394-1993 Listed on Caller ID as "Help Dept."  They Call every day.  We had people come to the door about an alliterative electric company.  The guy said you know their rates are going up.  I told him Yep.  And we went through this with Enron and all the Politicians made money on choose your own electric company.
It won't be long before we are all in the dark.

I received a call from this number just a while ago.  Caller ID said Help Dept.  The only help I need is for them to stop calling.  These calls are getting to be a pain in the rear.  Thanks for your info and this page.

If you're going to call strangers get used to getting yelled at. We're tired of you crooks invading our privacy and using the phone WE PAY FOR to do it. Get used to the abuse because it's only going to get worse, or get a job that doesn't involve calling strangers.

This is an energy scam. Fact is, any cold call at all is 99.99% likely to be a SCAM. And as for the other .01%, who effing cares?

The woman was just doing her job, I am a customer service rep and it's really not fair when you curse us out, we are just doing our job. You could have politely asked them to take you off of their calling list. As for her behavior, it was outrageous! Whne customers yell at me, I show empathy and never lose my cool. You were wrong for yelling at her, but she was very wrong for doing what she did.

These people really need to QUIT calling me. I don't have PP&L and I can't have them for a carrier!!! I am so tired of this phone call every day!! We live way in the mountains and they don't even offer that here anyway!! I am just tired of this phone call everyday!!

Received this unwanted call today March 5, 2013.  I am on the do-not-call list.  Why does this still happen.  I do not know anyone in area code 215.

I also receive calls from this company twice a day nearly every day.  I have pushed the number to connect and usually get disconnected, however when I do get someone they say they will put me on their Do not call list, and it will take 24 - 48 hours to go into effect.  I have redialed the number and the only thing you get is the option to be put on the Do not call list.  I have done this repeatedly and STILL get these calls constantly.  Today the person I spoke to said the company is privately owned called Energy Degregulations.  This company needs to stop harrassing people! I would never buy anything over the phone from a company like this!
