this number is being used by a company that cleans up your online reputation.  They search you out online then call you and promise to push down all your bad s*** online. 99% of these guys are full of Sh_t. Beware they will ask for 5K to 10K and never get the job done.  

This number called asking for the person in charge of the NYSEG bill. I said he was not available and they hung up. I called it back and it went to a cell phone voice mail of some girl. I left a voicemail just in case it was her calling from her cell for her "soliciting" job, and a few minutes later some other number called my house leaving a message saying our house number keeps showing up on her daughter in law's caller ID and wanted to know who was calling her phone.
First off, we do not use our house phone AT ALL. We only have it in case there is a time we cannot use our cell phones. Secondly, if this woman's daughter in law cant call back herself, I see no reason to return the call either. Sorry!

In recent weeks, I was receiving multiple calls daily from the same telephone number identified by my caller ID only as "Atlantic City, NJ 609-225-9301".  It turns out that party who has been harassing me is Southeast Energy Consultants.  I know this because I called them back and actually spoke with a "customer service agent".  Just like many of your experiences above, the representative was very pushy.  When I explained that I wasn't interested in his "offer" to save me money on my utility bills (and I politely asked him to put my number on a do not call list), he said that it was ridiculous that I wasn't willing to save money and go with his company.  He couldn't understand why I wasn't interested.  I guess he got the picture when I hung up on him mid-sentence.

I had a bunch of missed calls from this number. At least once, I answered promptly, but they hung up before they heard my "hello". However, I just called the number and asked them to put my number on a no-call list. She just said "no problem, have a nice day" and did not push sales. Either I got a more reasonable person, or they are realizing that bad publicity really is bad publicity. Or... maybe I will continue to get calls anyway, but I doubt it.

I had a similar experience as Marge. Whatever line they're calling from kept breaking up and I ended it. Now they're calling my mobile phone.

these people are brutal!  I got them to quit calling my land line and in 24 hours they started calling my cell.  The woman pushing the energy carrier was pushy and deceptive.  I ended up having to wish her a good night and hanging up while she was still speaking.

This company needs to be reported.
