I keep receiving calls from this number. I answered the phone today and told the man he had the wrong number - he was asking for someone named Lisa - and he was so rude! I told him I had had this number since November and he said "Wow, OK Lisa" and hung up on me!

They threaten court action even though there is a statue of limitation.They are crooks.Worse than ambulance chasers.

I am so happy we are able to google phone numbers like this and take action to prevent them from contacting me ever again. Thanks Everyone!

this guy just called me at 8:30pm. told me i had a debt to pay which i payed off in person to the dealership. i told him what law firm he was part of,he told me the (above name) i asked for the case doc. # and his lawfirm license #. i told him i dont believe that i owe as i had paid it in full. i also told him that i have a call trace program on my phone because i work for the FBI (which i dont..lol) i told he had been traced and that he would be contacted by local authorities in a prompt manner for scam/fraud. he started stuttering and i hung up....now he can shake in his boots!!!!

I just recently started receiving calls from this number.  I have caller ID and when I check to see who has called when I am out I noticed calls from "Account Portfolio".  They never leave a message.  I have tried to answer their calls when I'm home but they just hang up.  I have had the same phone number for two and a half years.  Apparently someone who has bad credit had my number before I did.  I periodically receive calls from collection agencies asking to speak to this person or his wife.  When I say that there is no one here by that name they "make a note" and tell me they won't call again.  Then, eventually I hear from another collection agency.  I assume Account Portfolio is calling about this person because I am not in debt.  After finding this web site, I will never answer their calls in the future.

These scums just called here at my house at 8:15 am. I learned a long time ago just not to answer these kinds of calls from people that I do not recognize. My hubby said that only thing he could remember was a bill he and his EX wife had about 12 years ago. Ha good luck with them trying to contact us! I will just never answer it and our voice mail just says you have reached (our number)please leave a message, and with no personal info they dont really know who they are calling!! HA HA HA!! Called my house to locate an individual who does not reside here.

Asked for them by name, when I said they did not live here, asked for a phone number they could be reached at, all without identifying themselves.

So right off the bat, they violated:
§ 804. Acquisition of location information
Any debt collector communicating with any person other than the consumer for the purpose of acquiring location information
about the consumer shall—
(1) identify himself, state that he is confirming or correcting
location information concerning the consumer, and, only if expressly requested, identify his employer;

as they did not identify themselves prior to asking for information about the individual.  I suppose they want to be sued, or something.  I don't know.

They called my house but did not answer. I am glad I google the number.

I called the main # which is 1-(215)-642-3400, and when I asked about their harrasing call they hung up!!!!!

Got a call from this number at 8:15 this morning with a very unrecognizeable message at the end!!!  What a nightmare -- hello -- speak English!! Maybe then I could understand you! I am not even sure if they said my name or not...First time they have ever called me...

My phone rang at 2:27 on 1-20-09.  When I picked up on the call, there was no response.

They are the bottom feeders. I received a call from them not my social and they wanted collect debts for some else from me.**hang up on these ediots**

I answered the phone this morning, tired of these people calling, they wanted ex daughter in law,, told them do not know where she is, have not spoken to her in 10 yrs. they ask what relation was i to her I told her it was of no concern to her (the caller), she got real smart with me so i turned on my noise maker and i bet her ears are still ringing. I am getting ready now to call my attorney to see what i can do legally about Donald Burak, Atty. office.

This number calls me constantly. I have quit answering after the first woman who called told me I was going to jail for not paying a credit card bill from 1999, Providian. She called me a f****ng deadbeat and began yelling at me that I had better listen and do what they say 'or else. We know where you live!!'.
First she told me they were a  law office. I asked what lawyer was phoning and she stated it was Tom Landis.
I did not send a cease and desist and did not request confirmation, because I found on the web, if you request confirmation of an out of statute debt, and they provide you with that, then, the statute of limitations clock starts all over.
I had sickness/disability protection on this card and only had a balance of a couple hundred dollars, when I experienced a tragedy that put me out of work.
I sent in multiple documents for the disabilty and the credit card was supposed to be paid off. It was not and they kept the money I had paid.
Now, they want 3600.00 dollars! This is out of statute and I will not respond to them. I will not be cursed at, called names and threatened.

Just bought a Panasonic KX-TG9348T phone system with the ability to block up to 20 unwanted phone numbers.  Just blocked 215-642-3395.  Best investment I ever made!

this number continues to call and then when I try to cb nobody is there. Calling all hours. Pls advise if anyone is pursuing lawsuit.

How do I stop this.

These people call me a few times a week.  They're calling about an old charged off card.  It's a scam though because they don't own the account.  I've already talked to the real company that owns the account and they don't know who these people are.  Just ignore them or block the number, they're all talk.  I happen enjoy answering the phone and saying the most offensive things I can think of until they hang up.

I continue to receive calls from this number. I do not ever answer....

Received a call from 215-642-3395.  States that he is a collector and represents a law firm.  It has been determined that this is a company who buys outdated debts and then misrepresents that they are a legal firm.  If you tell them that they have the wrong number they will continue to call despite the fact they were given the Cease and Decist informaton.  It is my suggestion to anyone getting these calls to document the date and times of each call and then contact you local police or telephone company and file a complaint.  If you do not you will continually be interupted by this blood suckers.

215 625 3395 shows up on caller ID as Account Portfolio daily going back months. Lately, it rings early--5:30 a.m. today. A couple times I picked up and got no answer. Today I called back 5 times: 1st time, got a busy signal. 2nd time, silent pause then busy signal. 3rd time, silence then dead. 4th time, silence then operator-type message that number has been disconnected (if only!). 5th time, longer silence then dead.
I called the number to say STOP CALLING. Then 4 more times on outside chance it would annoy the caller or tie up the caller's line. Then I googled. Seeing others' comments, I don't feel so creeped out. I checked out the link to Marc Gardner, CEO. A 9-page court doc came up naming Gardner as a plaintif. Blocking the is a great idea.
