received a call from this number wanting address???? very heavy accented  woman, barely understand her....

A woman with a heavy Asian Accent called my cell phone asked a question could not under stand what she asked for sure. She knew my address wanted to know if I sell some thing I think I kept telling her IO could not understand what she was saying when I asked you she was and why they were calling I did not wait for her to tell me I hung up as I was driving and did not want to deal with it.

They have been calling on my cell phone for last few days! No message. It is very annoying.

Heavy accented guy asked if our bakery sold cupcakes, then asked for the address. What does these weirdos want. I ain't got time for freaks who ain't buying or placing an order.

Same thing happened with a heavy accent lady and she would not answer my questions. So I gave her wrong address information.  

Got the same thing and they knew my home address too, said they were updating maps

Wanted to know our address, could not understand him as he had a thick middle eastern accent.

Dick up the phone, and don't listen what she is saying, just ask to remove your number from the calling list. if she continues asking questions repeat your request to "please remove your number from her calling list" and not call again.

Don't yell or be nasty, just say it calm and nice until she agrees to do so.

Called asking our church's address.  Weird.  We are all the way in NZ not sure that will help him.

This number has called several times and I am so tired of it. Just like the other posts, heavy accent. When I asked who is this, I was told the call was for GPS, and no more.

Same basic info as most of the above- heavy accent Asian woman, then a heavy accent man. Had my address. Said they needed to verify business info for addition to GPS - implied they were working for 'Nokia'.

Chinese or indian accent asking about my address and what kind of food we serve!

11/29/2012 9:35AM (CT) received call from 2169122022 caller ID OHIO lady with accent asked me to give her address to the number she dialed.  I could hear her typing away.  I said NO and asked who she was.  She said marketing (research?).  I told her that my phone number is on NO CALL list and to remove my phone number from her list.

This number also called our business. A woman with a heavy Indian accent wanted to know what my address was for GPS purposes. She knew the name of my business. I asked if she was an insurance co, (we run a body shop). She said no, and I ask if she was a telemarketer, and she just wanted to know my address. I hung up.

Heavy accident.  Kept asking me if i sell car parts,,  NO i kept telling him.

I was thinking about updating my business details on Google maps, I got a call from this number saying that it?s a mapping company NAVTEQ, wherein they update business details. I gave my business details. I am eager to see my business details on maps.

I got a call from them earlier this morning, they didn't leave a message. So I just called them back.
Got a voice-mail, (HEAVY ACCENT) saying they sell GPS and wanted to compile a list of business's so they need an updated address. I didn't leave them a message, but if they call back again i will be sure to tell them where to go.

Don't know how or where these people got their information. I have been on the Do Not Call List for 2 years now. I just filed a complaint with the Government about them.

Same thing here, she called with a heavy accent and started asking questions if this was a business, wanted to know if it was home or business and had the address.  I did not offer her any answers.

I've got a call from this number as well, they have been asking questions about my restaurant. what kind of food we serve and if we have a dine in and if it was casual or fine dining restaurant? then i stopped the person and asked why he was asking so many questions and he explained that they were calling on behalf of a mapping company called NAVTEQ and they update all these details on their GPS navigators. I have asked what does this has to do anything with what type of restaurant i had? the person told me that they classify restaurants as take away restaurants, fast food centers and dining restaurants. so i was convinced by his explanation and visited www.navteq.com. This company provides services for car navigation systems to mobile phone GPS systems.

We got a couple of calls from this number. We do not know anyone from Ohio. After looking up info about this number, it seems to be fraud and indirectly coming from another country.
I want those calls to stop.

The other posts were from 2007 but they called my cell twice in the past week.. heavy accent (possibly Indian) asks "Is this a bank?" and when told no, they keep asking questions/talking.

Received a call from this number. I spoke to a woman w a very thick accent asking if I was the owner of some business. I asked her name and what her business was and she eluded my question. I asked her a question with every question she asked. I never answered her questions nor did she answer mine. I told her that I never give my information to anyone who eludes all of my questions. However, when I asked why she wanted my address she said she was updating maps for gps and navigation purposes. Ummm, ok so tell me who you are. With that said, I told her again she was too elusive and was undeserving of my info and hung up. I then called the number back only to get a vm that I could not even understand what they said due to heavy accent.

Called and asked if this was a garage. Then asked if it was a home. I asked who he was. Said his name was "Jeff".He had an east indian accent. Did not sound like a "Jeff" to me.I asked who he was with. He then said a GPS company.So I kept asking questions and he just kept answering the same way. No info what so ever. I then told him he was asking to many questions and I had no idea who he represented and I hung up. Then I put the number on my 'call rejection' list.
